Ok...so I was in NY for this Eid and wen I went for the namaz, the imam there was telling us to pay @least $10 bucks to the masjid. He was like "apnera cable bill koto den? Eid e baccha der $20 neeche dite apnader lojja lage ba bhalo lage na...tahole @least give $10 to the house of Allah"
I've never seen this kind of method used for Jakat!!đ is this right though?đ my cousins who went for the namaz in Jamaica said they were told to donate a minimum of $7!!
