Arhi FF-100 Takes-A Tinsel Town Story - *NOTE* pg 109 - Page 57

Khushi and Payel were busy packing their bags for their Greece trip. Lavanya on the other hand was terrorising her manager. Her assistant Ravi came running to her. She looked up at him with a killer look, "speak up only if you have good news, or else get lost..."

Ravi: "Ma'am, Arnav sir..."

Lavanya shot a deadly look at him.

Ravi: "Arr... Arnav, was in Mumbai..." He mumbled.

La: WHEN?? She shouted...

Ravi: When he claimed that he got engaged.

Lavanya stood up... Her eyes shone...

La: Do you have any proof...? she asked excitedly.

Ravi: "Y...y...ess Ma'am..."

La: Good, what do you have?

Ravi: He had a fitting schedule with Payel Gupta...

La: "You are useless..." She yelled and threw a vase at him. "She's Khushi's sister... Damn it...!!"

Arnav and Khushi couldn't hold on to their excitement. They wanted to spend time together.

"2 more days to go, Arnav" Khushi texted.

"I can't wait..." Arnav replied

Arnav and Khushi had developed hard core feelings for each other and wanted to spend more time together. It was 1am when Khushi got a call from Arnav...

"Arnav?" She whispered into her phone...

"You Free?" He replied

"It's 1 am Arnav, who won't be free?"

"Ya... Right..."

For a few moment there was silence from both sides.

"Arnav? You there?"

"Ya... can you come up to your terrace...?"

"What? My terrace?"

"Ya?"

She ran upstairs... and soundlessly opened the door. Arnav was seated on the terrace boundary right in front of her in a blue tee and a brown 3 quarter pants...

"What are you doing here, Arnav?" She whispered...

"I came to meet you... Couldn't wait for 2 more days..."

Arnav and Khushi spent quality time with each other. Khushi had got 2 cups of coffee and cookies... It was 4 am when Arnav left Khushi's house... Khushi was climbing down the stairs when she saw Payel standing at the end of the staircase, her hands folded in front of her chest.

"What's going on Khushi?" Payel asked quizzically.

"N...n...nothing!" and Khushi ran with the 2 coffee mugs.

2 days later,

Khushi and Arnav were waiting at the Airport lounge with the other crew members. Khushi looked at Arnav making puppy faces at her and couldn't help but smile

"Let me sit next to you, please..." Arnav texted.

"NO..." She replied back...

Arnav turned to Aryan, " I hate Whatsapp..."

Khushi giggled, hearing this. Arnav cleared his throat... Khushi stood up...

Payel looked at her, "I'll come from the washroom, di..."

Soon boarding was declared,

"I'll sit next to you, and no one can stop me...!!" Arnav texted before stepping into the aircraft.

Khushi was 6 people away from Arnav. She smiled at the text and put her phone in her pocket.

She entered the aircraft and found Arnav sitting grumpily, Vishal was sitting next to him...

"Hi, Vish..." she smiled at him.

"Heyy Khushi... I didn't see you at the airport, thought you'd be coming later..."

"I was at the waiting lounge..." She replied as she made way for a few crew members...

"Oh... cool... so... where's your seat?"

"Umm..." Khushi was cut short by Arnav's quick reply...

A: "Khushi, why don't you take the window seat... Heyy Vish shift one seat and let her in..." with that Arnav stood up and thus Vishal was forced to stand up...

Khushi couldn't help but smile and finally to Arnav's delight was seated next to him.

Lavanya was supposed to board the evening flight on the same day to Greece, but she missed it intentionally. She was busy building up a fake proof that Arnav was with her on the day of his so called engagement.

To her manager's distress, she was forcing him to add a fake date to an old picture of Arnav and Lavanya at a party.

Man: "But, ma'am if we get caught it would create a lot of problem to us."

La: "Just do it..." She yelled...

Lavanya's manager sighed and added the date of Arnav's engagement on the photo.

La: "Sell it to ABP news first thing in the morning tomorrow..."

Man: "Ma'am, when do you want to go to Greece... I'll book the tickets accordingly..."

La: " Don't bug me about the tickets... Let the news go on air tomorrow... I want to see the public reaction to this first"

Man: "Okay ma'am..."

La: "But make sure our names does not get mixed up in this..."

The Jab Mila Tu crew reached Halkidiki. Their shoot was supposed to start in 2 days time. Khushi and Vishal had gone out for site inspection. Arnav was sitting in his room when Aakash called him. Aakash's manager had got a news about the photograph that was supposed to get published next day morning.

Ak: "Bhai, what do you want to do? I'll handle everything in India... Just tell me..."

A: "Aakash, I'll speak to everyone and let you know in sometime... Just stop the news from getting published..."

Ak: "Yes, bhai... I'll handle that."

Arnav was frustrated. He had not thought that Lavanya would go this far. He had to do something to stop her and he had to prove that Lavanya was planting fake proofs.

Arnav met Swayam and Aryan to discuss about this issue and they planned to use Lavanya's idea back on her.

S: Once Khushi and Vishal comes back we'll execute our plan.

Next Morning,

Lavanya scanned every page of the newspaper, every news channel and was shocked to see no reports on Arnav's fake engagement. She threw the paper on the floor and called up her manager.

La: "Why the F... is there no news on Arnav?"

Man: Ma'am... They... they kept the news on hold for a day...

La: WHY? She shouted

Man: They said they need to confirm it before publishing it...

Lavanya threw the phone and stormed out of her room

Journalist: Yeah, I am Karan from ABP news, do you have any news about Arnav's activity on 6th of June?

Guy: Yeah there is a news of Arnav getting engaged to Khushi in London.

J: Well, I have a news of Arnav attending a party with Lavanya on that day in Mumbai

G: Okay, give me an hour's time I'll check which one is true.

J: Yeah, let me know what you find out.

That night, at the hotel,

Khushi and Arnav couldn't stop kissing each other...

Arnav lifted her and placed her on a table... his warm hands moved over her waist and send a trickle down her spine... He took her earlobe in between his teeth and bit it softly... She moaned in pleasure... She had just pushed his shirt down his shoulder when someone knocked on the door. Arnav and Khushi gave a joint sigh. Khushi jumped down from the table; Arnav buttoned up his shirt and opened the door. Swayam and Aryan stormed in to the room.

S: "Turn on the TV, the news about your engagement is on air"

Ar: "I just hope our plan is successful."

A: It will be... He smirked.
