Bhagyavidhaata fame Richa Sony, who was recently on a roll of doing episodic shows, will soon be seen in a cameo yet a strong role on Nikhil Sinha's magnum opus Maryada Purushottam Siya Ke Ram on Star Plus.
Our source informs us, "Richa has been roped in for essaying the role of Gargi on Maryada Purushottam Siya Ke Ram. Sita happens to meet Gargi at the Gyansabha of Gautam Rishi and she gets quite fascinated with the knowledge, courage and inquisitive nature of Gargi. Sita gets so inspired by Gargi that she asks her to encourage and guide her as well."
When we contacted Richa, she confirmed the news saying, "It's a cameo but a powerful character. Women are considered to limit themselves to household stuffs and looking after their family but Gargi was different. She was independent, strong and very intelligent. We have been shooting at a huge setup in Ramoji Film City. Working with a team of talented people like Nikhil Sir and Dharmesh Sir have been a great experience. Both of them are amazing director on sets."
"It is said that the language of Mythology is quite difficult to speak and I took it as a challenge. I used to feel the words while I was communicating with Sita on the show and used to get goosebumps while performing. It's a big opportunity for me as an actor," concludes Richa.
