No that was not fake at all, Vikas is a well liked in the tv industry and has many friends. On another note, I almost cried with Karan he looked so cute crying I wanted to give him a hug. Bachu part was so adorable, Vikas and Amita are such good sports and such a nice couple. On another note Vikas is also really good friends with Aamir Ali.
