Ragini relinquishes her crown

So for ages she was the most hated, reviled person on the show and certainly on the Forum (rightly so) for her evil acts.
But with the present track, we now have a new King of Delusional Psychosis- he is none other than her "better" half- Mr Lakshya Ragini Gadodia (thanks Kavya and whoever else came up with this name- I am borrowing!).
For Ragini, despite all the evil, there was a method to her madness and also there was a back story to her which showed why she became what she did, regardless of the fact that no-one justified her actions, but the descent into that state was seen evolving wth the show.
Now Lakshya- that is simply impossible (in my entirely personal opinion) to find any credible justification. He is simply coming across to me as an eternally foolish, spoilt brat, whose selfishness has crossed all bounds. I know he was cheated by Ragini and all that jazz. However, even then he reacted in a mindless stupid manner at the key time and his ego was so mammoth, he allowed Ragini the means to achieve her aims. But say for arguments sake, we forgive him that as he was under duress (not buying it still) and was the victim of a conspiracy- what is the excuse now?
He was literally branding Ragini a witch just days ago, heck- he even said he wished she had killed herself (that was utterly loathsome by the way!) and now in the space of hours, he is totally her puppet again? Why? Because she promised him the toy that she and he previously cast aside. I am not elaborating as to the various actions he has already committed as this will get too long but suffice it to say, that without the build up to his character like they did with Ragini, making him behave like this- the CVs pulled a proper number on this character!
I never thought I would say this but I can actually "deal" with Ragini- Lakshya is just unbearable now as there is no sensible justification for what he is doing. The endless chant of "I am in love with you Swara" makes it even worse, not better.

Thus the former Queen we loved to hate has been well and truly dethroned (despite still being way more creepily evil than Lakshya can ever be) and we have a new King to hate (cannot use love to hate here- I don't like, let alone love anything about this character at this point). Who would have thought even a few weeks ago that there would be a character as disliked as Ragini used to be?!

Shru, awesome post! 🤗
Ragini has definitely been dethroned when it comes to being psychotic and delusional - but when it comes to brains she is still over and above our very dear Mr. Laksh Ragini Gaddodia. 😆

I have actually never disliked Ragini as a character - she is one of the strongest that there is. I detested her crimes but I always enjoyed her belief in herself, her quick thinking and her ability to manipulate anyone. It is actually very interesting how she carries out what she intends to do and does it for a reason. Whenever she has acted - she has used her OWN brains and even though it may not have worked for her in the end - but it did while it lasted.

And our very own dear Mr. LRG, I am loving this new Ragini 2.0. I am disgusted thoroughly and I always wonder, how does he manage to churn out the same rubbish again and again and again. He is selfish, spoilt brat, brainless and a coward. Yes, a Coward. Initially I thought Laksh was a coward only because he tried to commit suicide, but wow, the man is a coward for he does not ever realise his own mistakes - he never realises when his one finger is pointing towards Swara/Sanskaar - the other four are pointing back at him. Kudos Mr. LRG! That smug smile on his face when Ragini convinced him that Swara is still in love with him - Wow! He is much more delusional than Ragini ever will be. Because Ragini KNEW she was doing wrong - Laksh just does not realise he is doing anything wrong. He is worser than Ragini and I love that he has 'dethroned' Ragini. 😆

In all this I am glad Swara Sanskaar are going to be together. They took over Ragini alone - it is time they take over Ragya. 😉

Brilliant post Shru 👏👏👏

You have voiced what I'm sure most of the audience is feeling at this point.

Never in a million years did I think I'd ever dislike anyone as much as I did Ragini. But Lakshya has managed to achieve the impossible. Even Ragini was able to evoke an ounce of sympathy at one point or another, but as you mentioned, Lakshya's antics have no rhyme or reason beyond a severely bruised ego he just can't seem to handle and all he's managing to do is just piss me off 🥱

No matter what Lakshya claims, now I'm positive that he has always loved Ragini 😆 . Why else would he blindly follow her every step of the way even when he KNOWS what she's capable of doing. Either he underestimates her, or he's incredibly dense. I choose the latter.

I mentioned this on another thread but I want to share it here too. After Ragini's truth was revealed, I was hoping Lakshya would sort his ways, but I guess I expected more than he was capable of doing. His delusions have actually started to creep me out. As if peeping in on a married couple's intimate moments in their bedroom wasn't enough, he is going to sink as low as to manipulating the apparent love of his life using such cheap tactics by slitting his wrist.

He blames Ragini for stooping to such a low level to get her love. What is he doing then? Pot calling the kettle black?

P.S: I have been receiving your PMs about your OS and stuff and I apologize profusely for not having caught up on them. You have been such a sweetheart and regularly send me PMs of your work every time you update it. It's just that I have barely found time these past few weeks to stay online for more than 10 minutes. But I promise I'll catch up to all of it within this week because I love your writing 🤗

Ragini will seem mahaan as compared to Laksh now.🤢

its not nice..because i love ragini as a villain. she is so brilliant and devious.

but laksh ko toh villain banne ke instructions bhi ragini se lene parte hain. even then he screw up. he is breaking my heart. villain ki standard honi chahiye na?😈

I missed tonight's episode, guests at home and all of us were lighting a few fireworks 😊 Gonna watch the repeat tomorrow and res-ing this space, to pour out my devotion for Mr and Mrs Lakshya Maheshwari. 😛 😉. The former for sure, I still have some pity for the latter.

@bold 🤣- perfecto

Exactly Medhu- it is the drawing a bigger line to make this in context smaller but here what they have done is literally try to swap one for the other so the 1st one can prove her point, the CVs can recycle the old track and instead of SwaLak as victims last time we have SwaSan. Just think its a shame as the old Lakshya was foolish and impetus and weak but not so "ghatiya"?!

Vij 🤗
You didn't miss much, just watch SwaSan scene from Asha's thread when she posts it. I am getting too wound up watching the torture and emotional bm by a character who is playing a parallel lead- he's meant to be someone you emphasise with, even if you don't ship (God forbid) him but this is beyond that

I asked this in AT since no one cared to reply posting here:
Lakshya hates Ragini but believes whatever she says even after all things she did, But Swara the one whom he claim to be his TRUE LOUU he wont believe or trust her no matter what the situation is ..Is he bipolar ??? How can someone be this confusing and contradict himself with every other word he utters ??? 🤔

Thank you, I was pleased when you res as I knew I would get a good comment and I did. I totally agree- Ragini was fascinating- in the repulsive way a snake is- that is the beauty of well fleshed out villains (even more so grey characters) but with Lakshya what I feel they have done is a hatchet job- there is no sense left whatsoever.
But you reminded me of a very good point- the constant whining and projecting blame on each and every person but himself is so so unattractive, it makes it cringeworthy to watch. That blushing bride impersonation when Ragini span him the love tale was 😲. When is he going to grow up?! To be honest I don't really care at this point.
I feel sorry for Namish- on the OLV he was so 😲 about the wrist cutting! It was like- huh? They're making my character do this?!
