I believe this week spells the END of YHM. Atleast for me it is. What's happening now is a clean bowled tamacha on our face for getting so attached to this show in the first place.

Let's look at the past and 'reminisce' some horrific moments from past tracks.

When initially the Mani track started (yes, I know I will be accused of never getting over the Mani track, but I cant help it since it was so 'ingeniously' plotted that it still serves as my reference point😉) I was angry, and blaming Ishita for the most part...quite rightfully so...since all of a sudden a super-perceptive, caring, intelligent, smart, superwoman wife who could smell a dead rat and her husband's and everybody's else's moods and intentions a mile away, could not fathom WHY her husband was getting irate at her constant Mani chant or her overly done, fake insincere smiles and conversations (read: Only WE felt that, Raman was positively harrassed) with that moron-who-is-eye-candy-but-a-pain-in-the-arse-when-it-comes-to-acting-and-could-easily-pass-off-as-Ishita's-brother-dunno-how-and-why-the-F-Raman-thought-they-could-be-having-an-affair😕.

Also, she not only could not understand what got her hubby's got during that time, but she was indignant and furious that her husband would dare doubt her. Like its totally normal to make your bachpan ka male besti your go-to-man for everything while your husband is sitting around, thinking how he could of some use to you. And then when the CVs realized the audience isnt liking it, they wrapped up that track and conked Sumeet off into space with barely a mention of the underlying tension and accusations between the leads (let alone a proper heart-to-heart). Unceremoniously dropped the subject. Its like "Mani ki wajah se track ek maheena chal gaya...toh woh ab bhaad mein jaye...and as an afterthought, audience bhi uske saath bhaad mein jaa sakta hai".

Then came all the hullabaloo regarding Asokwa and Shagun's wedding and to perpetuate their sick plotline, they suddenly made Mihika literally rinse her brains clean of all logic, all sense and she got on board trying to be Shagun's best friend. The end result - she was leched at by Asokwa, and later found in a hotel suite, inebriated, disoriented, defeated and publicly humiliated. Tab se uska dimag gaya hai ki aaj tak wapas nai mil saka use🥱

Need I say more about hagun's re-entry into Bhalla House and her prakop shining on our heads for a good two months atleast? Or MinKi's dramebaazi shaadi and Subbu's re-entry (God, if I had to choose between Mani and SUbbu- for Ishita - I would choose Mani. Considering how MUCH I like Mani, you can imagine how goddamn annoying and a pest Subbu was)

I know this post is getting long- but hang in there- am coming. This marked trend of stupidity, general dilly-dallying around tracks and characters, mindless incorporations of tidbits to make the track look realistic and all reeks of bipolarity to me. The point I am trying to drive home is CVs apparent lack of interest in formulating a story around a minimum amount of logic and sense prevailing in its tracks. Is it too much to ask for, considering we give our precious 30 mins watching this show and prolly a few more hours reviewing, discussing and thinking of it?

This lack of attempt in keeping the viewers engaged with fair bits of drama and logic/sense has become more apparent since the Subbu track. And as far my memory goes, each time we feel the CVs cant get any worse than this, they sort of prove it to us, that they can - and they dish out a horrible track. Since the news of the leap started floating, everyone came up with a new theory of his/her own. Possibly, the CVs were trying to gauge how we would respond to their future plans tightly and neatly centered around Shagun's comeback.

Like everybody else, I too vehemently opposed the leap and associated rumours. So be it Ishita getting a life-threatening disease and then going off to Australia to be with Subbu and pining for real pyaar in her heart😕 or Shagun carrying IshRa baby or Shagun possessing Ishita for revenge, I opposed each damn thing. But the makers didnt give two hoots to us...and went ahead and made Ishita pregnant (heck! The woman just needed to have sex with her husband and she'd have been cured, because there was ABSO NO BACKSTORY to HOW she suddenly fell pregnant amidst that incompetent dehati Dr. Manoj's idiotic and fickle claims that she could never conceive...so much for being touted a barren woman, so much for the 1.5 yrs of heartache and drama...so much for medical science)...and it was ONLY for this reason that the CVs showed the leads consummating...agar yeh zaroori nai hota toh shayad yeh bhi na dikhate...😡

So we had Raman as an over-eager, zealous impulsive fool who somehow thought a child carried in his ex-wife's womb would send his current wife into a prolonged, unfettered spell of absolute bliss and gratitude and we had him germinating this bachcha idea in Ishita (it started quite long back though)...we had Shagun germinating the thought of surrogacy in Raman and Manoj's minds, we had Manoj as a man blinded by love (what? It took him just a week to fall in love!) doing all that Shagun proposed...somewhere in the middle Simmi gets a whiff, Ishita and family finds out, Rinky gets murdered in a freak accident, Sarika tries to mug up all that her MBA course could give her and soak in all possible opportunities, Mihika decides she likes Mihir instead of ACP and their love story hangs in limbo and what not😕

And once Shagun 'died' we had nothing but her ghost holding Ishita's body captive and making her scream in a monotone, or wear sarees and blouses like Shagun, talk and breathe like her, flirt with Ashok, tilt her husband upside down, choke Amma to death, scare the kids to a point where they felt scared coming near her, and the latest - throw a silbatta from the terrace which could easily have crushed Raman then and there.😡

And while the whole of IF and those lucky ones outside of it kept thinking and theorizing and beating themselves up about this show, EK kept smirking and counting her money and gloating around to have made this 'impact' on us fools. 😡

And then they decided - that audience didnt want Raman to be proved a certified adulteror, or land Ishita in the mental asylum from all the shouting or keep Shagun and her awesome acting chops in hiding for too long, and they cant even call for a leap and separate the leads...and since NOTHING else seemed to fit the bill...that would keep THESE THREE CHARACTERS in prominent roles for more mind-boggling roles ahead, they formulated this genious plan.

And now, I will just make bullet points about my questions and observations and you guys can deduce the rest and make your own observations.

1) Ashok, weeks ago, wanted to only ruin Raman's life..and happiness...so he tried getting Ishita injured in an accident and then later, murdered. When that didnt happen and she only suffered a miscarriage, he decided to still ruin their lives and planted the CD (showing Raman giving mouth-to-mouth to Shagun and was very telling)..that plan seemed to be working. I am guessing he is the one who planned Rinky's murder as well...and am damn sure it is Sarika...who is being used as a spy by Ashok...but then, ALL of a sudden, he wants Raman dead? Where is the progression? He is the kind who would WANT Raman alive so that he could suffer the ignominy and misery of life...but not want him dead outright. And if he DID want Raman dead outright, then there should have been something Raman would've done in the recent past that spurred him on to this dangerous mission...no one just one day wakes up after months and says, "This man has been lying low since months...I have managed to cause his wife harm and now will succeed in ruining his marriage forever, his sister's dead too...bbwaahahahaha...but no! He did so and so to me 6 months pehle, I have to get angry, I have to get mad, I have to murder him...bas...aur bardaasht nai hota"

That scene between Shagun and Ashok, where he's threatening her and all, looked so DAMN FABRICATED. As unbelievable as Shagun just one day turned up saying, "Hello Boys! I am no more the bitchyShagun Arora, I am Mata Hari, look at me, I'm all white, white, white!"

2) If Shagun couldn't go to the police station, then I am sure Ishita could have. She could have easily confided in ACP and let him in on the plan. I mean, its not like - if she tells him someone from the Bhalla House is involved, he will simply walk up to the Bhallas and ask them which of them is an accomplice in murder! Duh! They had SO MANY WAYS TO nab Ashok...catch him...but why this convoluted drama that makes no sense and is such a blow on our faces😡 Its high time ACP throw his police attire away since he is of NO USE. Months later, he still couldn't catch Ashok for so many reasons which could have easily landed him in jail for a lifetime atleast...but nai..he is brainless, Ishita and Shagun have too much of it...and we are the scapegoats😲

3) Ishita cried hoarse about her husband cheating on her, breaking her trust, going child-crazy when she herself didnt want a baby...then what the heck was her reaction today for? She didnt even look remotely interested when her own baby was growing inside of her, and then later clarified she didnt think of it much since she has Ruhi and Adi, and today as soon as she saw the surrogacy papers and Shaggy told her the truth, she goes all gooey and senti and makes that face again, "Mera bachcha...mera apna bachcha"..W*F..Either you wanted it or you didnt want it. As much as I still don't support Raman going for surrogacy or understand it, he was still believable as baby-crazy because he went to the extent of having his ex-wife carry the baby...Ishita didnt even LOOK hurt or traumatised or anything...why this sudden sentimental drama??😡 Suddenly...Shagun is her best friend..they are crying, hugging, Ishita looks so bloody grateful its not funny...Shagun looks like Surpanakha trying to pull a devoted and benign Meera Bai...I mean, it was just too much to digest😲😲😲

So now it didnt matter if its her Sauten carrying her baby..all she wanted was her baby...suddenly...and why? coz the bloody script demanded it😡

4) Ishita did so much over-acting when she rushed into the hospital store...it looked so weird...so botchy "Tum mere pati ko mujhse chheenna chahti ho naa" what nonsense!😲 She has started like Shagun, off-that-fabricated-drama as well

5) And what's worse - Ishita made the bhoot wala plan, from the looks of it...I mean, didnt these two women think ONCE of Raman and the kids and the family members? For all we know, Shagun could very well be setting up a booby trap for Ishita and Raman...so I dont give a damn to her...but I cant believe Ishita lost her mind and thought of something like this?!!The concern and trauma they caused to all in the family is unbelievable...😡 Scaring the kids, Bhallas, making them cry buckets of tears...making her own parents and sister and bro-in-law run around harried, and tensed round the clock...but the worst of all, robbing her husband of his sleep and mental peace and his happiness for he constantly kept clarifying to the world outside that his wife isn't mad, he constantly kept hoping she would get better. Heck, I can NEVER EVER forgive Ishita for this...her stupid sick plan led her husband to literally fall at Asok's feet, that very man she wanted to save Raman from.😡😡😡 This is so morally wrong, unnecessary and extremely hurting, should the truth come out in the open.

And heck, Raman is not a child who doesn't know how to take care of himself. Agar itna hi shauk tha Raman ko bachane ko, to pehle use inform kar diya hota...ki aisi baat hai...I am sure he would have WILLINGLY pretended to be dead, for the sake of his kids and family..and then turn Ashok's plan against himself.

WHY DOES ISHITA HAVE TO ALWAYS DO THINGS ALONE? WHY DOES SHE THINK SHE IS INVINCIBLE THAT SHE DOESN'T NEED ANYONE'S ADVICE, SUGGESTION, HELP, NOTHING? WHY DOES SHE ALWAYS MAKE DECISIONS FOR OTHERS? I AM SICK AND TIRED OF HER PLAYING DETECTIVE...AND JUST SO SO ANGRY THAT SHE TOOK IT SO FAR THIS TIME. 😡

There are so many questions I have which I HOPE the CVs will answer...they better answer😡-

It did look like Shagun jumped from the terrace? If she's alive now, then how and why? She was clearly dead that time...she was 'found dead' by ACP...heck! They CREMATED her!

Ishita could see a morose, weepy scary woman sitting in a corner, hair all over her...but Raman could not? How come?

WHAT SUPERHUMAN POWERS DOES ISHITA POSSESS TO BE ABLE TO TILT RAMAN UPSIDE DOWN?

WHY WAS ALL THE SHAGUN TALK-WALK-MANNERISMS TAKEN TO THAT EXTREME? Why that cheeky rude behaviour with the kids?

She ate chicken for real? For this nautanki? Or was it made to look like chicken? I am sorry I behaving like the anchor of Sansani (that scary man who could make your own mother look like a practising witch out to get your life😆)

Choking Amma was part of the plan? 😡And throwing a silbatta at Raman from the terrace must have needed some meticulous calculation on the part of Ishita...so as to scare the F outta him but not kill him..it was ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY NO???😡 I could've still put up with the Bhoot angle, but this? This is incomprehensible!😲

I am DISGUSTED. I AM SO DISGUSTED. And what's more pukeworthy was - Ishita and Shagun were seen wearing the exact same outfit, exact same jewellery...shining like reflections of each other...as if they were Siamese twins...

Ishita looks positively GRATIFIED. THANKFUL. Has she no shame? No self-respect? This is nayi soch?😡😡😡

"Shagun tum kitni acchi ho" "Maine tumhe galat samjha" "Tumne mere liye itna sab kiya"

"Bas kok meri hai, bachcha tumhara hai Ishita"

I could just go on..but I might explode...😡

And they could go on explaining this whole week and month, but I dont care. Its over for me. Atleast I am not going to take it so seriously or be attached. I am going to make comic caricatures outta it, I swear. EK can go and hug her imaginary TRPs 😡 I am DONE with Nayi Soch.

Hi Akanksha,

I did read the WU I gave up on YHM but one thing stood out for me the confrontation between Ishita and Raman was too good Ishita asked all the right questions the viewers were asking Raman accepted he did a mistake but his love for her and Ishita pain as barren woman and not his first love was visible it was a spectacular scene

Now they are telling all Ishita emotions during that scene was a drama making it even more disgusting to think about it.

It makes me wonder whether they have changed the script to accommodate Shagun because almost everyone was even ready to accept the bhoot and most of the scene pointed in that direction

I personally was happy to have booth because it did bring Ishita insecurity, Raman love, no more surrogate baby and most of all the end of Shagun presence in the show

I just had few more things to add

1. I don't know I read in one of the post that when Shagun and Ishita confrontation in the hospital she had the new hairstyle so I guess the change in the script was due to high TRP for KP/DT brilliant acting they thought why not bring back Shagun when the TRP is high I never said/ thought it is favoritism to a actress I always thought why the CV revolve the story around Shagun but yesterday and today episode making me think probably it is not the character but the actress is more preferable otherwise why would they have changed the script if they argue it was not last minute addition how come Ishita hair look changed in that scene if it was part of the plan they should have shot the scene way back before Shagun committed suicide.

2. Initially it pointed in both direction MPD/Ghost if they have wanted to keep Shagun alive they could have gone via the MPD

3. After sometime it took a turn to ghost only that was also fine because they could keep their Shagun alive and we could have our IshRa but they are never happy unless Shagun hogs all the screen space for that they made a mockery of IshRa marriage Ishita as a person wanted the baby only for Raman/Ruhi and when she had a miscarriage she didn't even shed a single tear and here they are showing she is eternally grateful to her sauten for giving her a own child if this is the Ishita they wanted to portray(her own child) why did they not show when she was pregnant happy about it or sad when her kid died.

4.This is the stupidest plan they can come up with Ashok already hired a professional killer to kill Ishita so why did he not hire another one to kill Raman instead of disclosing his whole plan to Shagun knowing that she is changed and is whiter than white so would he not stop and think for a min whether she would follow through with his plan.

5. My main question is what is the need for Ashok to kill Raman and the reason he gave is not even justified he doesn't even know how Raman stopped his engagement first he has to find out if it was Raman who stopped it because Raman was busy consummating his marriage, taking care of his pregnant biwi, pregnant Shagun and finally dramabazz Ishita so where the heck Raman found time to stop Ashok marriage

6. Why would an affluent family want to get their only daughter married as a second wife to a man whose first wife accused him of molestation in media and before he got married to Mihika he was involved in a scandal with her and his photo with Mihika in semi-nude state was published in every damn newspaper and before that every body knew he was living with his girlfriend Shagun so my question again even a person from poor family having 8 daughters would think twice to get their daughter married to this man so why would a wealthy family with only one daughter will agree to this alliance.

Anyways what I was trying to say was everything from yesterday and today episode looks to be shot in the last minute so everything doesn't add together and looks like they are trying hard to fit Shagun into this role of savior which does not make any sense so my feeling is getting stronger just for AH they have changed the whole damn script.

We Weill never get answers from the cvs,,, this whole thing is so bizzare...nothing is adding up...according to their convo today..ishgun...Ishita knew about surrogacy even before Raman told her. Their heart felt confrontation about surrogacy ,was an eyewash. We were talking about this wonderful convo , the leads brilliant performance Abdullah look what we got today. ..Shagun has become whiter than snow white now...Ashok lord knows this guy wants Raman dead..why...no proper explanation..he also knew about surrogacy😲., Next thing someone in bhallas are his informant ...sarika..but wouldn't that be more predictable? On a lighter note I want Appa..you know why, don't you?😉as some characters are coming to an end...Kaash yeh such hota😳. Yes you are right Ishita as shagun was taken to the extreme..and so is sw's mahanta ..lord knows what else is in store? The whole scaring kids, putting Raman thru mental torture, almost killing amma, scaring the family...oh god...could've been avoided and taken in a sensible way..but no..they want drama and trp...

So I'm back with another question
Do I guys remember Ishu Simmi convo at the clinic? Doosri aurat, Pehla pyaar? Where does this fit in, with connecting with today's ishgun hospital convo? Was the convo with Simmi before ishgun' convo or after? If it's before, ok then too hairstyle and even the saree is different, the whole Ishu going with mrs iyer to clinic, Simmi Ishu convo, ishra confrontation, Simmi Ishu visiting shaguns flats until the minute shagun passed away she was in red saree.. Flash back diff saree?. If flash back is after ishgun hospital scene, then that was fake too..,that was a beautiful scene that brought out her insecurity.. Her thirst to be Ramans first love. We were duped and cvs made all of us fools

to me this is just a beginning of a track of shagun mahanta.

how long it will go and to what extend this manhanta will be portayed no body knows.

time is not far when ishita will payback for shagun mahaan efforts by bringing her back to raman life and going away from them. period

as an audience, its better to take a long pause here--------------------

Hey Aka, you reviewed today? Well, I stopped watching since today. I had stopped duirng surrogacy, came back when Shagun was dead. Now that surrogacy and Shagun are back and evrone is so eternally grateful to her, I have stopped watching forever!

Well if u see, most of the tracks they used to make Raman do some mistake, then Ishita will suffer, then all of a sudden comedy and end of track. If you saw this track they had amde an eerie banner implying aatma, but since they wanted Shagun back as Shagun, all was changed last minute, to ruin Ishita forever. i mean why wud she be mean or scared when she was alone, if there was no aatma? Cvs have butchered the leads and the show just for Shagun! Hail Shagun...🥱

Sigh. Something compelled me to write on this post. You nailed so many issues and that is why I am most disappointed with this show because it had a bound book to base the show on.

With time change slot, they never could transition the relationship well. Agreed it started off through a kid but it never could become about the two adults in that bond.

There are two arcs

Nature vs Nurture

This!! I think the novel was above the stupid black and white thing. But nah, the show missed the bus on a potential and ever lasting arc by constantly pushing for Ishita's supermom status , sometimes it was over-played even at the expense of her as a woman, wife and a normal human. Adi's flip could never understand- was it needed? How do you settle the debate so easily. If at all Shagun was needed, and she is atleast for me - then it's only this equation. Both moms, going through bouts of emotions, struggles and conflicts with each other.

I was sick and tired of - "Ruhi ke liye"..I meant at one point this couple contemplating pregnancy for Ruhi.

Love arc

Communication -NADA. They used Ruhi and kids too much into this relationships. For every darn progression, they needed an external push- ILU- kids? I mean, almost everything had to happen for an external reason. When did Ishita and Raman talk? Ever-About each other or what they share. The guy got a mother for his kids and a woman who got kids and family ,bas- thats marriage.

Mani track- so many more were such precursors of good scenes which used to end with a passionate scene and people be gushing over the passion, chemistry- negating that just moments ago the man had walked all over her, moments ago-woman was being insensitive to her husband. Shubhu? When did these two act normal..so pardon me when Ishita and Co can ignore Shubhu's flip, i was preparing for the worse with Shagun too.

Like major or minor decisions- they never talked. Mihir's shaadi-Ishita makes a decisions without talking with anyone or her husband? Ignored coz Superhuman Ishita.

Worse was the consummation scene. Since they had no other reason to explore intimacy but go dramatic coz that would need explantion as to why two individuals who love each other, stay on same bed, havn't done it..was darn tough.

They used Shagun and then Ashok. Moments before happiest time, she is found by her husband drugged and well in danger..no questions,but we will go all for intensity-slap slap, love it is. Also, Ishita much similar to present one gloats to Shagun about it. I mean Ishita who was almost molested before the consummation ..goes to gloat to Shagun about her sex life and share every detail with everyone.

Naturally next progression for cvs is pregnancy. SO first they use RUHI and then when they mess it up, abortion- they numb out Ishita.No she is not strong, rather sold to us as over-sensitive , emotional mom..so how does that justify? She might be satisfied but death is different. Why the heck was she not shown reacting at all to her abortion- thank you for insulting woman so well.

Then immediately, to mend fences coz of this sudden miracle , they dump down Raman beyond - how do you redeem the character? Why would one want that? Make Ishita-sick, let him nurse her back- so will that nullify everything? Coz love? Someone please explain this redemption because I kept reading it and nothing convinced me whatsoever. Heck at one point, i felt we were all pushing her to be passive towards emotional abuse coz Puttar ka Pyaar.

How the heck a husband decides the fate of his wife's womb without her consultation. How the heck he decides on surrogacy without Ishita?

I saw what they did with Shagun's thing..they used her , the most hated character to deflect and buy sympathy again for Raman . Nice and because Ishita must also be super-human, so she not only befriends her but also has a save the husband slogan to cover it up.

Ghost Ishita.Superhuman Ishita.

I would have voted for separation and then a leap. Ishita walking out on everyone and everything including Ruhi. Letting Raman work again for her, for them. But nope- fans/trp crowd will buy the louu till they be together

Shagun- Why is ashok not criticized? Half of the time he is the focal pt of drama and after all these crimes- why is he relevant?

Shagun- for me remains for the first ploy but not for Ishra , her flip was pathetic but this show never can write grey. So. Should have made her bond again with her kids. Make her play that angle and well. Lets see. Because such sensitive conflicts cannot be sorted so easily and dismissively.

Darn, dunno, why I wrote..but something stir me beyond for this show after ages.
