Salman Khan has become friends with Shah Rukh again, but he is certainly in no mood to do the same with Ranbir Kapoor and Vivek Oberoi. Yesterday's chain of events at Mehboob Studios (Bandra) clearly suggest so. The studio in question was buzzing with excitement on Friday, anticipating an epic face-off between Sallu-Vivek and Sallu-RK.
Oberoi was shooting for his upcoming film Great Grand Masti in Studio 1 along with Riteish Deshmukh from morning 11 am till 6 pm. Ranbir and Deepika Padukone were filming a commercial in studio 4 from 10 am to 3.30 pm. During lunch time at 2 pm, Salman strutted in at Mehboob studio with Sonam Kapoor for the promotions of their upcoming film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
Were Salman and Vivek aware of each other's presence in the studio? Yes, they were. How do we know about it? A source close to Salman revealed that singer Shabbir Ahmed met the Kick star to make him hear the scratch of a particular song that he had written for him. And then Shabbir turned around to tell Salman that he had to leave to meet Vivek in the same studio to make him hear a song which he had made for a film starring the Company actor.
We are sure that Salman didn't like what Shabbir said, but he didn't show his displeasure. The discomfort was already inside the Kick star - he had already been informed that his other nemesis Ranbir was shooting in the adjacent unit. However, a major disappointment lay in store. Salman did not cross Vivek and Ranbir's path. Clearly, he had men around him who were giving him minute-by-minute lowdown of Vivek and RK's movements. Ditto for the other two stars.
Yesterday's events indicate that as far as Ranbir and Vivek are concerned, Salman's wounds run deeper.
