I dont know whether I am doing Durga Rani Singh ' Vidya Balan

National Award-winning actress Vidya Balan said that she still has no idea whether she is part of Sujoy Ghosh's Durga Rani Singh or not. "I don't know whether I am doing the film," said Vidya at the closing ceremony of Mumbai Academy of Moving Images (MAMI), yesterday. Earlier, few days back,Vidya had said that she is "not aware" if she has replaced Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the film.

There have been reports that Vidya met her Kahaani director and patched up after their apparent fallout post the 2012 hit thriller. Apparently, Sujoy had offered her the biopic Durga Rani Singh, which Aishwarya was supposed to be a part of. "Not aware of that," the actress told media at the opening ceremony of MAMI, when asked if she had replaced Aishwarya in the project. Before Aishwarya, the film was offered to Kangana Ranaut.

So the mystery about which actress will ultimately play Durga Rani continues, until, of course, Sujoy himself makes an announcement, like he told us few days back, "I am not talking on this right now. Whenever I am ready with my plan and once things happen I will tweet and everybody will come to know who is playing Durga Rani. Let the work speak."
