Sonal was born on 12 June 1993 in
Mumbai, Maharashtra. She has
obtained Bachelor of Arts degree
from Mumbai University. But
stopped her education in the mid to
pursue her career in acting. She has
started her career by playing small
roles in the serials. But now
because of her passion about
acting she became a big fame in

SAB TV's action comedy Police
Factory has started from 26
September. Sonal Vengurlekar has
replaced Sharmin Kazi for playing
the role of Priya, a bubbly, cheerful
sister of a strict brother (Tarun
Khanna) in the series. But Sonal has
call it quit to Police Factory as her
character is not as per what she
had been promised during the
narration of the script.
She said, "Yes, I have already
decided to leave the series, but will
serve the notice period of till
December. Now I am open to other
projects and wish to work right
after my notice period gets over."
Devyani in Shastri Sisters
Shastri Sisters was the story of four
siblings who moved to Delhi from
Kanpur. Sonal played the role of
Devyani who was the third among
the four sisters.
