Also, in Deewani Mastani, look at the part where Deepika is spinning and it's being reflected in different mirrors on the ceiling. They showed the same thing when Madhubala danced in Pyar Kiya to Darna Kya.

Anyways, it's not really copying. All these historical movies are accurately portraying how things were during that time period. If that's how things were, then that's how they were.
