Janvi confesses that she's lucky to have landed a role in the show For girl-next-door Janvi Chedd, working in a prime time show on national television is an experience in itself. After doing regional TV for sometime, her debut in Choona Hai Aasman has been like a dream come true. The character that I am playing in the serial is more like me emotional and family oriented. The character believes in being good to those who are good to her and worst to those who are worst to her. I am also like that, she says. In town to promote her new show, Janvi confesses that she's lucky to have landed a role in the show, after three auditions and 25 look tests. She firmly feels, more than working with big production houses, it makes sense to choose a good character and a strong script. A Kutchhi settled in Mumbai, Janvi was very active in her school and college, taking part in competitions and shows. I wanted to do something creative and I am lucky to be in this field. My parents knew that I am not the one who would do a nine-to-five job. Janvi is partial to theatre, having worked on stage before doing TV. I am partial towards theatre. Television and theatre both are different media. In theatre, you get instant reactions from the audience. And TV has a mass exposure. Janvi feels that she is truly blessed to be in a profession (acting) which is my passion. I can work non-stop for hours together. Besides acting, Janvi is also fond of reading anything from newspapers to novels. I am also passionate about dancing. So should we expect her in some dance reality show in future? I don't know... but, may be. |
