Raman lays beside her,she turned towards him and his her face in his chest.he wounded his arms around her.soon he realised some wetness on his T-shirt.he look at her and found she is sobbing in her sleep.he felt acute pain realising how alone she was all these months ,he wiped her tears and hide her in his chest again.she sleep peacefully in his embrace.he too close his eyes.
What u r doing here,he open his eyes listening to a sweet voice. He saw little ruhi standing in front of him keeping her hands on the hips.he checked the time,it was 3.30 in the morning.
Raman look at Ishita ,she was sleeping and ruhi was standing like an invigilator who caught someone cheating.
Raman-actually I was missing u both. So came to check but ur mumma hold my hand, so I slept here only.
Ruhi-and what will u answer if mumma see u here.go to ur room.one second, how u came here.she asked like a daadimaa.
Raman- by climbing the pipe.
Ruhi made a perfect o shape and said- and what if u fallen down.come u go from the door and then I will close it.
Raman-ok but why u r up in middle of night.
Ruhi-i have to go to washroom.after u go,I will wake mumma.
Raman-whats the need,I will take u to washroom.
Ruhi-no mumma said we girls should go to washroom only with girls.u r boy naa.
Raman smiled at her cuteness and asked when mumma told u this.
Ruhi-in the park.
Raman-achcha Ji in only one day u became mumma's girl and what about papa.he said making a sad face.
Ruhi came closer and kissed his dimples and said-uff dadda I am ur doll naa.I will always be ur doll.Raman smiled and remember how ishi always kiss his dimples.
Ruhi take his hand and drag him outside the house.he open the door and goes outside.he take ruhi to his room and she goes to washroom.she came out and said- good night dadda.
She slowly goes to iyer house and slept again hugging ishita tight.Raman sleeps in his room.
Next morning ishita wake up feeling very happy. She don't understand the reason but she wanna smile wide. She look at the sleeping form of ruhi and thought she must be the reason of her happiness.little she knows it was Raman.she get off the bed and goes to washroom.after sometime she came out. She had taken bath. She goes to amma and greet her good morning. Amma was very happy to see Ishita so happy.
Amma-good morning ishu.u r looking so happy today. Anything special.
Ishita-ruhi amma.yesterday she slept with me.
Amma-did bhallas know this.
Ishita-haan amma,Mr bhalla himself said that she can sleep with me because she wasn't leaving my hand.
Amma-raman is a very good man.
Ishita-yez amma he is really very good.she said smiling.an unknown blush crept on her face.
Ruhi came rubbing her eyes ,ishita take her in her arms.
Ishita-good morning ruhi.
Ruhi kissed her cheek and said- good morning mum aunty.
Ruhi-aunty today u will make me ready for school.please aunty.
Ishita thought for sometime and said- OK.she take ruhi inside her room to freshen her up.amma was too happy to see her daughter happy and sent a prayer to her murugan to keep her happy always.
Ishita make her brush her teeth ,then helped her in taking bath.ishu wrapped ruhi in a towel and said- ruhi I don't have anything to make u wear.
Immediately she get a flash of a girl wrapping a small baby in the towel and saying the same thing.she was trying to remember the incident when ruhi told,my clothes r in dadda's room.u can go and get one.like a hypnotised person when went outside her room and went to bhallas house.the house was almost empty.she goes to his room and was standing there,trying to recollect some forgotten moments. Raman was coming out of the washroom,he saw her there and stands in the way. She was looking around and was getting flashes of a man and woman laughing ,kissing ,hugging .she can hear some sounds,Raman u always wear weird combination, let me take a proper combo for u.the man back hugged the girl and said,ishi don't just take out the clothes but make me wear also.saying so he kissed her.
A smile crept on ishita's face but she couldn't remember the faces. Her steps automatically go towards his cupboard .she opened his cupboard and take out a blue shirt with black coat.she smiled and get a flash ,Raman u look so handsome in blue shirt with black coat.the man said,and u look beautiful in every colour jaan.she was trying to remember when Raman tap her shoulder and asked-what u r doing here.
She realised ,where she is .she fumbled with words-i am here,because because.
Raman keep a finger on her mouth and said-shh,keep quite. U want me to wear this. I will wear this only.
Ishita keep on looking at him and suddenly collapsed in his arms.he was shocked ,he pick her in his arms and ran towards iyer house.
Raman- amma ,amma see what happened to her.tell me the doctor's name.I am taking her to hospital.
Amma-let me come with u.
Raman- no amma I will take her.u please take care of ruhi.
Toshi Ji also came hearing his voice.she was equally worried for ishu.Raman take the name of the doctor and took her to his car.he put her in the car and sit on the driver seat.he started the ignition and drives towards the hospital.she was unconscious and murmuring slowly but audible, Raman ,Raman.
He stopped the car and hugged her tight.
Raman- ishi I am here only.look at me.
Ishita tried hard to open her eyes but couldn't and hugged him back . He side hugged her and started the car again.he reached the hospital and took her to doctor's cabin.
Raman- doc look what happened to her.he panicked.
Doc-let me check.u please relax.
Doctor checked her and give her some injections. Raman was pacing to and fro worriedly.
Doctor came out and said-she is OK.she faints due to some stress.I have given her medicine ,she will sleep for sometimes.
Raman signed in relief,thank god she is safe.
Doc-can I ask something.
Raman- yes ask.
Doc-r u Raman.
Raman- yes I am.is there any problem .
Doc look deep into his eyes and asked-r u her husband Raman.
Raman was shocked-how u know this.
Doc-so u r ,please be seated .I will tell u.
Raman settle down in front of her.
Doc-ishita is a very special patient of mine.she is very sweet.when she came to me,she was like a lifeless body.she never respond to anyone.always sit idle.one day she was in park when someone called Raman.that's the first time is reacted.she turn to see the person.that day I understood that Raman is the only medicine of her. She didn't remember anything other than two names,Raman and ruhi.her amma appa was lost all hope to get her back .but that day I got a little hope.after that I hypnotised her at first she was all mum but when I took ur name ,she started crying bitterly remembering u .she told me that u r her husband.I was in a dilemma that whether to tell this to her parents or not because she herself don't remember this truth.then I decided to search for u myself.I searched a lot but couldn't find u.she use to cry all night then i had to give her sleeping pills because sound sleep is must.but still she sobs in her sleep.but now I am happy ,u r here.now I will stop her pills because all she needs u and ruhi.BTW who is ruhi.
Raman- ruhi is our daughter.
Doc-ur and ishita's daughter but ishita is,
Raman interrupted and said-my ishi is not infertile. She is mother of our ruhi.
Doc smiled at him and said- now I understood why she loves u this much.u know Raman u and ur daughter is her lifeline.she forget everything of those years but not ur love.now I think she will be fine soon.give her ur love and care and she will be alright soon.but remember don't tell her everything suddenly. Her mind needs time to remember everything. Never try to rush,if she stresses herself that can be risky.
Raman- dont worry doc i will take the slowest path.i dont wanna risk her life.can I see her.
Doc-yes she is in cabin 3.she is under effect of medicine.
Raman goes to the cabin nearby and saw she is sleeping peacefully.tears were flowing from his eyes thinking what she had gone through.he goes to her and kissed her forehead. She murmered again,raman.he hugged her and said-yes ishi ,I am Raman,ur raman.please be alright for me and our ruhi.please jaan be fine soon.he said crying hard.he pick her in his arms and took her to the car,he drive home.
He took her to her room and place her gently on the bed.he covered her with duvet and kissed her forehead lovingly.ruhi came to him and asked with teary eyes, mumma is OK naa.
Raman-ur mumma is OK.
Toshi Ji and amma listen this and asked,why ruhi is calling her mumma.
Raman- come to my room.I will tell everything. Ruhi u be here with mumma,and call papa if she wakes up.
Ruhi nodded and lays beside her.
Raman was pacing in his room.
Toshi ji-tell us Raman.why u called us here.
Amma-tell Raman,u r making us worried.
Raman goes and kneel in front of them and said- please listen to me very carefully.amma please be a little patient .
Amma-tell Raman.
Raman-dont take me wrong but I wanna say that Ishita is my wife.
What,they said in unison.
Raman narrated them how they met and fall in love .
Raman-maa I am not only divorced, but I have married Ishita lawfully in court.she is my wife.don't u have any problem naa maa.
Toshi Ji have tears in her eyes-a girl who not only saved my son but his daughter also,how can I have a problem with her.if she is ur wife then my daughter in law .
Raman-and amma u.
Amma-but ishu is infertile and sick also.u still want her as ur wife.didn't u have any problem with this.
Raman- I don't have any problem.moreover I knew about this from the very beginning.
Amma-still u love her.she had tears in her eyes.
Raman- yes I love her because she is not only my wife but my life.I love her above anything and everything.r u happy.
Amma-yes I am.the boy I search for her leave her the next second he came to know about her disability and u love her after knowing all the truth.how I can't be happy Raman.
Amma kissed his forehead and Raman wiped her tears.toshi Ji also cried seeing this scene.
Toshi ji-did she ever come to our house.
Raman- yes when u went to vaishno devi ,I was so sick and so was ruhi ,at that time she came to our house to take care of us.but why u asked.
Toshi ji-because I saw her today.she was trying to recall something. That's why I asked.oye madhu we r samdhans.
Amma-yes toshi.
Raman- we all together will make her alright.
