Hi guys...I'm back with a new one...Though it is a RoSid OS, I'm dedicating this one to all those kids whose childhood get crippled because of the differences between their parents. When a couple is separated the biggest sufferers are the kids. I took this concept so that along with enjoying the OS we can think about the problem...But no worries...It is not only a social issue, but more of RoSid. So enjoy and please let me know your views through comments...And if it's not up to mark, please do forgive me. I CAN FEEL YOUR HEARTBEAT- A ROSID OS BY ROSHNI. Siddhant was surprised looking out through the glass panes of his cabin. What has happened to the parrot of his office? Why is she so silent? Since she has joined there in his office, he has always seen her smiling and talking. But today she looks rather worried. Yes, he's talking about Roli Dwivedhi of fashion and designs department. This girl surprised him on the day of interview itself. Her dressing, those cotton kurtis, quite unfashionable made a wrong impression on her. But as he started to speak with her, he was really amazed; the spark inside her was not so small. Well, it was true that the she had a starting trouble that a usual middle class girl was supposed to have. Besides her certificates; they were brilliant. She scored 98.6% in 12th standard and had a 2nd rank from NIFT in fashion technology. He himself had 94.8% in his 12th result. So he didn't think further to put her to work in his company. The very next day itself she started becoming the greatest talk of the office. Her hard work was exceptional. She puts in maximum effort in every single thing she does; however small it is. Another thing about her is her endless talking. Yes, she was so talkative. Some members of the office teased her for the habit but this girl helped them at needy situations even after knowing what they thought about her. She wanders about in the office, like a proud peacock in her pretty kurtis with long plaited hair. Her besties in the office; Zehra and Mansila, two Muslim girls were totally different from her. In fact every other member in the office was different from her. She did not have that 2 cm make up like the other girls or the tight jeans and tops that reflect their body shape. The other day his friend and private secretary Amar told that she was an excellent cook too. Besides this she was a good artist and poet. She always interacted well with all the staff except him. Seems that she's afraid of him. Every time she meets him she stammers and it is almost like she goes weak in her knees. He always felt like laughing at this side of her but declined as he felt she would be insulted by the act. This was something that mother taught him as a child-never insult anybody, not even for fun. This girl, she has managed to catch his attention. Give her a child, especially a girl child and you can see how lovely she takes cares of the child. She too becomes a kid and plays with the child. This side of her reminds him of his sister Jhanvi who is no more. In fact no one in his family is left. All has gone leaving him quite alone through that car accident. Well, he doesn't want to fill his head with all these sentiments. He at the moment wanted to know why she's gloomy. That's all. Well, he decided to call Zehra, Roli's best friend. Zehra was in Siddhant's cabin. Quite about worried was she. Siddhant cleared her worry by stating that he wanted to know why Roli is gloomy. Zehra was bound to some hesitation but with more pressure she started telling the story of a girl who hasn't known what happiness that a family gives is. Roli was loved by her parents probably, but the limitations that they put upon her since her childhood hurt her deeply. She always felt inferior for being a girl. Besides her parents fought with each other so much that they never thought what effect will it have on her. She was the favorite of her teachers but her parents made unnecessary problems in her school which deeply hurt her. She had very few friends and teachers were her friends. They gave her support and she was neveraffected by her family issues. One of her teacher Mrs. Rohini, she filled the gap of a mother's love in her life. She passed out her tenth with flying colors but this separated her from her teachers especially Rohini Ma'am. She was broken as this side and couldn't concentrate properly. The lack of support from the new school weakened her academics. There during her twelfth standard she met Zehra and mansila and they became her lifetime buddies. Even at school, she was great at giving surprises and cooking. But the fall in academics always hurt her. But somehow she crossed all problems and stood all India toppers in biology. But surprising everyone she joined NIFT. By the time she was to college, the problems between her Mom and Dad had grown to such an extent that they couldn't be together. Yet Roli bound them together. Though the pains in her life tried to push her off track, she never did. She always smiled and loved everyone. Then they three joined his office as designers. In midst of all this, her parents filed a divorce case. And today, they got ultimately separated. Roli is broken at this fact and she's trying to hold her tears. As Zehra told him everything about Roli, Sid's interest on her increased tenfold. Sid smiled at Zehra and asked her not to tell Roli anything about their conversation. He also gave her and Mansila half day leave. Though Zehra was quite happy about it she told him it was better if Roli got an off to collect the broken pieces together. Sid smiled at her concern and told her that he'll give roli an off for sure; but not today as she got to do some work. It was lunch break by then. Zehra with a confused face stepped out of Sid's cabin and told Mansila about the happenings. She was also confused with Sid's behavior, but picked her bag and went to Roli. They said Roli that they were leaving. This made Roli even more upset. Yet she bid goodbye to them and walked towards the dining area. Suddenly she heard someone calling her. It was none other than Sid. He asked her "Roli, if you don't mind, can you come to my cabin for a while?" This almost made her go weak in his knees. This happened almost every time. She don't know why she felt different at his presence. Was she having a crush on him? Nooo...her mind shouted. He's your boss, got it? It reminded. With much difficulty she carried herself to his cabin. He followed her and closed the door. This made Roli to rub her hands in tension. He asked her to take seat, not in the official chairs but in one of the sofas facing each other in the corner of his cabin. She sat in one of the sofas and he sat in the other one. A small table was separating them. "Well Roli..." he begun in a low voice. "I know you're upset and the reason is also known to me. But chill, you were expecting this right?"He continued. Roli was shocked. How come he know her personal matters? Only Zehra and Mansila knew those things...wait...wait...they left early today, he came to know about my life: is all these connected? She thought silently. "Roli, I know that I shouldn't have pondered in to an employee's personal details, but I couldn't see you upset...so..." He said in an apology tone. Roli, who has been looking down all this while, looked up to see him. She wondered what he was trying to say. What does this I can't see you upset' mean. "Roli, I don't know to say indirectly. I love you... And I would like to marry you, be with you always, throughout this lifetime. I would like to give you all that happiness which you missed all this while." Roli was surprised at his sudden confession. Somewhere her heart thumped in joy but next moment she realized this statement may be out sympathy that might have developed in him for her after knowing everything about her. So she got up and said" Sir, thanks...But marriage is not something that should come as a part of sympathy. Whatever you're telling as love is just sympathy for me. So please, let's end it here." She was almost to step out when he rose to his feet and pulled her making her bang on his chest.
