I have just watched first episode of this show. Where Iqbal (lol already forgotten screen name) been hiding secret what's his plan is and why he's leaving with the family from past 5yrs?

Iqbal's character name is Ishan Hooda, nephew of hooda family who came into the family 4 years back with his daughter after loosing his family in canada. Preet who is said to be a friends' s daughter of hoodas has also lost her family in some attack during her marriage and still the memories haunt her. The marriage is that of convenience and compromise as the child kavya was taken care of by preet as a mother. Ishan and preet bind the family and love each of the memvers whole heartedly , in return family loves them too. There are family members with their individual track in the story which you will come to know if you continue watching next episodes.

But the twist part if you wanna call it , as you mentioned the raaz- ISHAN HOODA in real is dead, and the one who is now in hooda family is an agent or a spy from videshi land with some ulteriro motives. His real identity is Rizwan Ahmed khan who is only impersonating ishan for some reasons. The mysterioys kady is Sana, his humraaz, who keep on blackmailing him to spill the beans.

Lastly to answer your query if the man loves his wife or not, still a mystery , but portrayed to be extremely protective about her, attached to whole family and even respects the relationships a lot. There is undercurrent of love between the two but unexpressed as he has some other motives. This much has been shown. Aage Ekta mata ki kripa.
