"Ah! Rey, leave me, Aap mujhe hurt kar rahe ho." Taani cried feeling his grip getting painful on her arms.
"Sometimes, I really wonder how you manage to act so innocent all the time, it really makes me doubt that, are you really that person who ruined 12 people's career & dreams-" Rey stare down at her, his eyes spitting fire.
"Rey, i think it's time you tell me, what i have done that you accused me of something like this? What i did that you left me, without saying a word to me and hate me so much?" Taani questioned him, she was tired of hearing his accusations. Rey laughed sarcastically.
"Your acting skills are really commendable, taani, but still if you insists, let me show you the reality. Let me tell you Why i hate you so much." Rey started off.
"The day of D3 dance academy's inauguration, our rival, Seema, that also happens to be your cousin came there with our D3 academy's property papers, and claimed her right over it. And apparently, all her papers were legal which means the academy belong to her. She had the presentation CDs which we made with our hard work and proved us fraud, who were trying to get her academy, she got our investors. We were left with nothing, taani, we invested our everything in that academy but it was snatched away from us and you were the reason. Your cousin, Seema, she herself showed us the video where you handed her the property papers which had my sign & the CDs. And you still have the audacity to act so innocent, like you are the victim? I was fool to believe you back then but not anymore. You betrayed me, Taani, you become the reason I lost my friends. You ruined our dream of opening an academy. Thats why i hate you so much, taani, your mere presence disgust me-" Rey spoke in venom dripping tone while she stood there, emotionless. She was not in state to think about anything else.
"Now you got the reality check, I hope you will stay in your limits." Rey said before he pushed her away and left the room. After he left, she fell on her knees and cried, cried till her throat went dry.
"I never cheated you, Rey, Trust me, I never betrayed you, I never did, will never do. I didn't give any papers to seema then what video Rey was talking about? Mujhe seema se baat karni hogi." Taani thought to herself, in past 5 years, she didn't had any contact with any one from her family as they hate her now for getting pregnant before marriage but that doesn't matter to her, she chose her child over everything and she doesn't have any regret.
"I know there is some misunderstanding, Aapki taani kabhi bhi aapke saath esa nhi kar sakti and I'll prove my innocence to you." Taani thought to herself, she buried her face in her hands. What he told her wasn't true, she knew it but how to make him believe her.
When she hears Reyaan's voice from outside, she wiped her tears.
"Coming, baby." Taani told him, then she rushed inside the washroom and after washing her face, she moved out of the room.
"Mumma, papa is taking us to the mall, jaldi chaliye-" Reyaan shouted in glee, he was quiet excited as it was first time he was going out with his parents. Taani picked him up and kissed his chubby cheek.
"Mumma, we will buy your favorite cake, and I want pizaa." Reyaan told her, taani nodded at her son. She look at Rey and found him staring back at her intensely. His brows knitted in confusion seeing her blood shot red eyes, he wonder why she was crying when she is the one who had betrayed him.
