My pair with SRK cannot be compared with Deepika - Ranbir, says Kajol

Kajol said, "I don't think you can compare anybody to anybody. I cannot be like her (Deepika Padukone) and she cannot be like me. We cannot be like them and they cannot be like us."

Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol unanimously form one of the most loved pairs in Bollywood history. The duo, who have delivered multiple hits together including the most loved Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge', are all set to entertain the audience worldwide with Dilwale' this Christmas. (Read: Ajay Devgn is the original Dilwale, says Kajol) While no one could give SRK-Kajol pairing a run for their money in the 90s, the new century has thrown some serious competition in the form of former lovers Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone.

However for Kajol such comparisons hold no good. When asked if Ranbir-Deepika could be the next SRK-Kajol pair of Bollywood, the actress said, "I don't think you can compare anybody to anybody. I cannot be like her (Deepika Padukone) and she cannot be like me. We cannot be like them and they cannot be like us."

lol so kajol saying rk/dp r not the next srk/kajol, but she's rite, i dont think anyone can be the next srk/kajol in terms of chemistry

The writer needs to check his/her head before writing such crap lines in articles 😕

I think Hrithik/kareena had potential to be the next on-screen pair after SRK/Kajol to recreate history, but dey stopped working together. 12 years is too long a gap. even if dey come together, I doubt if history can be repeated and dat same level of excitement can be recreated.

Ranbir/ Deepika on the other ahnd I think are overrated as a pair, but many love dem together and dey r a very popular on-screen pair with the youth. But for me if anyone had the capacity to takeover after SRK/Kajol it was def. Hrithik-Kareena. Stupendous chemistry and great vibes they shared on-screen.

i dont think kajol is insulting anybody

or taking digs here,

she is basically saying

nobody can be srk-kajol and nobody can be like rkdp.

no two pairs can be compared

no two person or two couple can be like each other.

i dont think deepika will ever say alia-varun are next me and ranbir

its pretty much a normal response to be very honest

i know she isnt insulting anyone, but i agree with wat she said, in terms of chemistry i dont think we can compare any pair to srk/kajol
