TOI:Ekta to be replaced in her TV show?

Ekta Kaul, the protagonist of 'Mere Angne Mein', seems to have irked the production team with her unprofessional behaviour. According to a unit hand, the show is set to take a crucial turn and the actress is required in almost every frame. However, despite being informed in advance about it, she didn't report to the shoot, claiming to be unwell. "Since we have suffered because of her unprofessionalism in the past, we sent a unit hand to verify if the reason was genuine. She also told us that she won't be available for another five days. The creative team had to make last minute changes in the script to accommodate her absence. This is not the first time the actress has resorted to these antics. She went to a Navratri event at a time when an important twist was to be shot. If this issue isn't resolved, there are strong chances of her getting replaced after Diwali." Ekta says, "I twisted my ankle and rested for three days as advised by my doctor. I have never let the shoot suffer. The only time I was missing was when I was down with a viral, which was a result of shooting continuous rain sequences in the show."

And we were complaining why shanti & sarla getting so much screen space
Many actors were unwell like garima roshni & suchitra but still they continue shooting ekta should know the responsibility of being lead.
But I think ekta cant work when she is unwell as we saw her in jhalak dikhla jaa
She performed bad when she do it on that way

She should know her responsibilities.

She is too fragile to be the lead of a one hour show daily

Do you really blame her for losing focus when you are signed as a main lead and then reduced to a glorified extra by not only flooding the one hour, 7 days a week serial with an overdose of Ashanti and Sarla Boa but adding Mataji and her fools mandali to the mix? Not to mention tlhe idiotic plots and illogical behaviour of the characters.Sarla and Shanti belong in a cage or a asylum not in a family.

I would have quit the show in the first month and sued the producers for wasting my time.

I don't like her as a lead. And she look too old for Shivam. Better replace her.

I will quit watching MAM the day Ekta quits the show...coz I dont think I would be able to accept any other actress in place of her...😃 Coz I started watching the show when I saw Ekta & karam in the promos... I loved their chemistry & that was the only reason I got addicted to it...there's nothing worth watch in this show except ShivYa 😳 ShivYa are the main attraction & no Ekta = no ShivYa = no MAM...😃 Can't see any other actress opposite karam

I dont think i will miss her,if replace. Her acting is nothing to brag about, she is one boring actress
