I don't know if it's just me but I'm not really satisfied with the way CV's are portraying the current 'Manik's return track'. Manik was involved in a car accident and was supposedly 'dead' for 4 months so the event is quite significant but CV's are taking too much of a lighthearted spin on it. I don't expect the dramatic thunder storm sound effects and several zooming into everybody else's shocking facial expressions reaction to his arrival but I did expect something more meaningful/intense. It was as if Manik just came back from summer camp or something.

Also, I think it's illogical for Manik to be shown behaving normally again after enduring such a traumatic event where he lost one of his best friends. I know it's been 4 months but Manik hasn't really had the chance to deal with the aftermath of the accident with his loved ones and for me casual conversations won't do the trick. I want CV's to give us a proper insight into the pain he had to go through.

Why are they making Aryaman negative AGAIN? It would have made so much more sense for Maddy to be involved in the love triangle, after all he was Manik's replacement. Maddy also has feuds with Nandini and Fab 5 so can you imagine how angry Manik would be especially because both of them are impulsive.

Just overloading us with MaNan romantic scenes will not work for me unless the scenes make sense in the story and are of meaning. A bit of angst and tension is what they story needs right now because of everything that has gone why are they just metaphorically shoving everything under the blanket

I agree that season 2 is not anywhere near as good season 1 and there are few things missing in MaNan .But you have to understand the creative's are not the same the situation is not the same and things have been a total mess due to lack of planning at the beginning of this season.
But compare this week to last few weeks it is a huge improvement...I am watching the episode more than once,I'm smiling and laughing and that is a huge change from skipping the whole episodes ...I would take this MaNan rather no MaNan any day.
And plz don't expect season 1 magic that's asking too much.
Karisma is no Richa...her ideas and approach is totally different. And there is so much Parth and Niti can do and they are doing fab I must say.

nandini evn gave a nice hug when the lightf fell n manik(talent hunt finale) this tym it was very bad n lacked so many.

I am happy that Parth/Manik is back. But I am highly disappointed with the way the current CV's are handling his come back. I can't help but compare this to Season 1 and look at the gulf in quality between the writers who handled previous edition of KY2 to this. I am keeping an open mind, zero expectation.and watching the episodes since the return.of Manik and can safely say that, it has been a let down until now. No proper script or screen play, some silly lame dialogues which are supposed to be phunny, but is sadly not, direction, missing of pivotal characrers like Nyo, Cabir, Harshad all are making the viewing experience terrible for me. PaNi are the only saving grace, but how much can they do with a wafer thin script and dumb dialogues. Manik's character is loosing his identity as of now, look at the dialogues given to him, for me he had a certain class, and also that intensity and passion when it comes to MaNan is missing.

I think I agree to your point of the lack of seriousness in the story.
The last two episodes especially, The MaNan scenes in it are absolutely endearing and lovable and put smile on your face. No denial in that .
But if we see the story as a whole, the episode as a whole, it looks very flat. Manik is one of the most intense characters of this show is shown to be all normal.
The atmosphere is so light, they chit chat on random topics, go to trips, play games etc. Not saying they shouldn't do such things , but this is quite quick and unacceptable given the way they've portrayed Fab5's passionate friendship.
We can only wish for the CVs to give us something serious ,like a real solid conversation about Cabir.
I know maybe I maybe rushing because it's just two episodes. :D
But don't expect such shallowness in the story where death is involved.

MaNan are safe in all this but m unable to connect with the episodes as a whole.
Good post. :)

I would rather wait for Parth's arrival whilst CV's actually think of a good plot for him as opposed to just rush the story and attempt to try and make Manik fit into the story.

To be honest the episodes where Nandini was having hallucinations of Manik, I found were great, endearing and I could actually empathise with Nandini. Now it's not even a hallucination anymore, why is there such a lack of meaningful emotions?

Yes KY2 was at it's best when it utilised the main characters, once the 500 different cameos were introduced that's when it started going downhill

A lack of seriousness, I was trying to get that point across! Of course, I enjoy watching MaNan scenes but for me their scenes were completely out of context to the events that were occurring.

Exactly they are starting to butcher Manik's character like this guy is extreme with love, pain, hatred etc I expected to see a deeply wounded Manik. Friendship is so deeply emphasised in this story so why is Cabir's death being lightly brushed off. After MaNan, Fab 5 were the most crucial aspect or KY2
