This is a task given to me so better not to drag ...This is the reason to keep length of story in limits I am using my own narration instead of dialogues by characters
Scene iii
Coming Back to Present :
Dr.Sinha interrupted their conversation in mid.He came out of Geet's room after handling whole situation and performed some more tests.
Tejinder got up and stepped toward doctor with hope filled eyes "Dr. how is she ?"
"Mr. Khanna as a doctor I am trying my best...But don't want to give false hops ...Geet is here from last two days.After closely analysing her case and tests done All directing toward one outcome , depression she has due to fear of men. In medical terms known as Androphobia " Dr. Sinha sighed explaining this ballistic news...
" Androphobia ?" Daddi repeated what doctor said.First doctor gazed at Tejinder like to get permission if he could discuss all this here or not.." Mr. Khanna ? yeh aapke saath..." hesitated doctor .
Tejinder permitted Dr. Sinha nodding his head " Doctor yeh mere jaan-ne waale hai..and knew Geet's condition ..so please don't delay...tell fast in front of all of us "
" Ji Androphobia is a very rare kind of condition.Those females suffer from this who had some unpleasant/horrific experiences in past due to men..Or their upbringing was in such male dominated environment." Dr. Sinha explained in detail .
" It means girlz like Geet always get scared of every man..? "Stunned Maan questioned .
Dr. stopped Maan who was too much eager to know more " let me explain..take example of Geet she has grandfather, father ,uncles,brothers, cousins.Just a glimpse of her cousin Brij terrify her with whom she lives..Aur Mr. Khanna k saath wo ek dum protected feel karti hai..."
Dr. Sinha continued where everyone was listening him carefully " From last two days some times she was normal even with male medical staff .In her fit she behaved like as whole staff gonna harm her...So it doesn't matter if she is with family or outsiders .Situation develops according to her mind set .She can be friendly toward any male and next moment she can get scared of him." Dr. concluded...
" Dr. what to do now ? How can I take her back home in this condition..?" In anguish Tejinder asked.
" Aur yeh hum advice bhi nahi karegay Mr. Khanna ..to take her back..I think you should keep her in hospital or some where near to hospital .When ever she needs medical attention no one knows.."Dr. prescribed
" You are right doctor...But whole situation has been jumbled up now.. no one is there back in Amritsar and suddenly I have to go London due to business which I can't cancel..I never thought k aisa hoga..." It seemed whole situation is out of way now for Tejinder...he couldn't
What was the whole situation after all ? :
Tei's belonged to Amritsar...His mother means Geet's Massi Ninder Kaur was totally opposite to Geet's mom Rano..Where Rano even needed permission of Darji just to go out of home.Ninder was decision maker of home.Even people of area came to her for advice or help in different problems.
Teji had just mother and younger sister in family..Khanna family was not aware what happened with Geet.Few days back when Ninder paid a visit to Hoshiapur she came to know..Observing whole situation n Geet's condition she decided something in her mind...As her daughter Nandini was in hostel and Teji's sudden business engagements made her alone ..She requested Daarji to send Geet with her to stay with her...
If she had exposed why she wanted to take Geet with her.Daarji might have never allowed but this excuse worked and he permitted Ninder to take Geet.Sticky warning Geet to behave normally.
What Ninder said to Tejinder " Teji iski haalt dekhi hai...Marr jaati ja pagal ho jaati wahan ..bahaane se lekar aayi hu...kuch na kuch karna padega...Meri bachchi ko zinda butt (statue) banna diya un besharamon (shameless) ne.." Her heart was aching looking at Geet's condition..
Just couple of days had been passed.When Teji's Bua suddenly invited them to attend her daughter's engagement in Bangalore..It was too important to go over there...Except Teji's family his bua had no one one father's side...
But what about Geet ? They couldn't send her back or take her with them to Bangalore in her such condition.So at end they decided Ninder was going to Bangalore and Geet would be with Teji who had important work in Delhi and this might turn out to be a great change for Geet in open environment.
That was the reason Teji and Geet landed up in Delhi.First he was bit scared how Geet gonna behave in such crowded places like Mall..But she was responding in positive manner when Teji took her for shopping...for picture or having lunch outside..No one stared at her or kept eye over her when she felt this she hadn't any menace now...
When a business partner of Teji , Sunil Verma invited him on family dinner he decided to take Geet along..But why he decided to take in get together if she felt uncomfortable in parties or so ? First this was not any party just Teji and family invited and secondly he wanted that Geet could come out of her shell...
Destiny had scripted all again for Geet..Mrs. Verma's brother Rahul who was also there , totally drunken tried to misbehave with Geet when Sunil and Teji were discussing their business...He was compelling Geet to dance with him on music playing in living area..Which again freshen up Geet's horrific past and Vicky .She started to scream ,throw glasses from dinner table...In emergency Teji shifted her here in hospital...From two days she was here in such a mental condition...
Now what to do when he had this sudden trip on the way.Also he couldn't call his mother from mid of whole celebrations..
Coming Back to present :
Listening everything and understanding Teji's plight Daddi dared to give a suggestion " Teji if you don't mind I have one solution..Leave Geet with me..Fortunately Maan is also going to France for some days...I ll be left alone..?"
Teji never expected that Daddi could suggest something like this " Per aap kaise... how will you handle her ?"
" Hum Maan jaise jiddi potte ko handle kar sakte hai..." she petted Maan's cheek lovingly " wo to hai he ek pyari (lovely) see bachchi..apne aap se lad rahi hai (fighting with self ).One more thing our home Khuraana Mension is very close to hospital..bete aapko aab itna nahi sochna chaahea.."Daddi placed hand over Teji's head...
Teji looked at Maan if he hadn't any problem..How could he if Daddi decided ? Except his marriage plans 😆...Daddi made Teji's mind too...After discussing with doctor and informing his mother Teji got ready for this...
