Karan plays Khabru
"When we meet on sets we do not discuss about the dance but ask him about the gossip and what is going to happen this week. Who is going to perform well and all that? Whenever we get free time we chat about the show and try and find out from him what is happening behind the scenes," she says.
Ashima says that although she hasn't seen all the episodes she is all for Karan and his dancing skills.
"I saw some of his episodes. We are not getting time to watch all the episodes. But I think he is improving a lot. In every episode you can notice his improvement. Kavita is a great dancer. I liked the performance where they got less marks as well. According to me that concept was really nice. He looked cute as an old man," she says.
Of late Karan has been receiving a lot of flak from the judges. But Ashima says that Karan is very strong and doesn't mind the criticism. "He does not take all the criticism to heart. He is having a sporting spirit in him."
"No one knows that who will remain in the show. Public voting is mainly affected by the popularity of that person's character. Sometimes even good dancers get eliminated from the show. But my wishes are with them and I hope that they will perform well and remain in the show for a long time. I do vote for them every week."
Karan Grover, one half of the popular jodi no 6 has donned a new role these days – that of a Khabru for his co-star Ashima Bhalla in Meri Awaaz Ko Mil Gayee Roshni.
