While there has been news that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was only paid a crore for Jazbaa and the rest of her fee was to come from the profits, director Sanjay Gupta says he has never discussed profits, money or the profit-sharing model with Aishwarya directly. Says Sanjay, "I have always discussed finances with Wing Commander Ramesh. I told him that whatever my share is, I will share with her on 50-50 per cent, which includes my Intellectual Property Rights. The basic arrangement is between the three partners " Sachiin Joshi, Zee and myself. The big money is going to start from week three when Jazbaa will go on video-on-demand and paid preview. That is a very big market. You can only gauge the actual revenue of a film after a month and a half." Okay then, happy money counting.
