PART 9
After the sangeet everyone were off to bed.ishita was laying on the bed thinking about Raman.
Ishita(self thought)-I thought so bad about him.he is so loving and caring ,he was protecting me from this mess.and I want to take revenge from him.thanks to that aunty ,I trusted my trust on him.he is not at all bad.she was thinking when she heard a noise on her balcony.she get up and listen to the sound.it seems someone was trying to open the door of the balcony.she was scared. She goes with baby steps to see and saw it was none other then her would be husband. She ran to her bed and lays on her bed closing her eyes,like she is sleeping.
With great difficulty he open the door and came to her.she was sleeping wearing a green nightie ,her hair was tied in a bun.he look at her and smiled.he caressed her face and said-i know u r not sleeping ,get up my sleeping queen.
She smiled and open her eyes.
Ishita- so u know I was not sleeping.
Raman-i saw u when u came to see me in the balcony.
Ishita smiled and asked-why u r here.
Raman cupped her face and said-because I wanna see u.
Ishita- but u can see me tomorrow.
Raman- but tomorrow u will become my wife.today I wanna take u for a long drive as my fiance.
Ishita-long drive,at this hour.
Raman-do u have any problem. Shall I ask amma.
Ishita-no,OK u go downstairs, I am coming.but how u came up.
Raman-i took portable stairs.go and change I am waiting.
Ishita-no u go.
Raman-why r u shy of me.oh I am ur would be husband.
Ishita-please .
Raman-ok till tomorrow.
Ishita-go from the front door.
Raman-no I wanna experience this .
He goes down with his portable stairs.she goes to washroom and changed her clothes.she wear a blue shirt with blue denims and tied her hair.she was going from the main door when she think of exploring this adventure.she goes down with the stairs in her balcony.she was in half way when she fell off the stairs but Raman catch her in the neck of time.her eyes were closed due to fear.she was looking so damn cute.he smiled and pecked her lips.she open her eyes to see herself safe in his embrace.she wounded her arms around his neck.
Raman questioned her with his eyebrows.
Ishita- I don't wanna walk.I want be like this only.
Raman-but u r too heavy.come down or I will die because of ur weight.
Ishita frowned and said-then leave me,I am going back.
Raman-uff I was just kidding.come let's go.he took her to his car.soon they were on the road enjoying their drive.he took her to a ice cream parlour and ordered her favourite ice cream.
He bring their ice cream and they started eating.
Raman-i wanna confess something.
Ishita look at him and asked -what.
Raman-i know u don't love me .u r marrying just for my mother's sake but I wanna assure u that I will be ur friend first then ur husband and then a business rival.u can always share all ur worries with me.I want to be a shoulder with which u can share all ur worries. I know our relationship is not a regular one.we r not lovers but I can assure u that I will do all my duties as a husband.I won't let u cry .I can't promise that u will not have any problem in life but promise u will never has to face any problem alone.
Ishita was in tears listening to his words.she don't know what to respond to his sincere promise but all she can do was hug him tight.
Raman hug her back and realised she is sobbing.
Raman-hey ishita sorry for my long lecture but please cry.u know I didn't say this to make u cry.but to make u believe that I will never hurt u ,and will not let anyone hurt u.stop crying ishita. U r ruining my shirt.its very expensive.
Ishita slap him lovingly and asked-achcha how much expensive.
Raman-very because now it has ur tears.she rub her nose.Raman make a yucky face and said- and ur u know what.and laughed.
They finished their ice cream date and where off to home.when she told that tomorrow morning there is haldi ceremony.
Raman-i will apply haldi to u.
Ishita- boys r not allowed.
Raman-raman Kumar bhalla is allowed everywhere.just see how I apply haldi to u tomorrow.
Ishita- challenge.
Raman-challenge accepted.
Raman drop her to her house.
Next day
Haldi ceremony was going on in bhalla's house.everyone tore every single piece of cloth from his body.everyone was enjoying.at last it was the time to take the haldi to ishita's house.Raman goes to his room to freshen up.after freshing up he went to her room secretly.she was getting ready wearing a yellow saree for the ceremony. She look at him and asked surprisingly,how u r here.
Raman-i came to apply haldi on u.
Ishita-but u don't have haldi.
Raman pulled her to himself and rub his cheek to her.some haldi which was still on his cheek came on her cheek.
Ishita closed her eyes,Raman said-i told u naa that I will apply haldi on u .saying so he goes back.
Ishita was standing still at the place .her trance was broken when girls came to take her down.she goes with them.the haldi ceremony was done .
In the evening ,she was getting ready for her wedding.her heart was beating fast ,from the past five years she has been trying to forget that single day when that moron insulted her and said,she didn't deserve to be anybody's girl just because her dignity is more important to her then their relationship. She still didn't forget that insult and was thinking will she able to become Raman's wife in all senses.she knows Raman is a good man and she loves when he touches her but surrendering herself to a man is something beyond her imagination. She was fearing what if she couldn't do the responsibility of a wife.her heart was beating hard.she was ready in her bridal attire .she was looking breathtaking but her confidence level is down.she was afraid of an unknown fear.
Downstairs Raman was waiting anxiously for her arrival. He wants to see her as his bride.keeping all her insecurities aside she stand up when the girls came to take her down.she goes down.many girls were holding her.he look at her.she was looking eternally beautiful.she look at him and like she forget everything but him.they look at each other.they share an eye lock.
Raman look at her and realised,she is somehow upset.he questioned her with his eyes but she refused.toshi Ji coughed to make them realise,where they r.they broke the eyes lock.
Raman settle down and ishita sit beside him.soon the rituals started, they do the varmala ,then the pheras and finally he put sindoor in her partition marking her as his.she close her eyes to feel the moment and a lone tear escape her eyes.
