Rishi Kapoor had acted with most of the successful stars in Hindi film industry since he has been working since a very young age.
It also meant a lot to be associated with one of the most influential film families in Bollywood. So, Rishi is said to be ready to act with actors like Shabana Azmi and Juhi Chawla after a long time.
The three actors will be seen in the film Chalk N Duster, which is being directed by Jayant Gilatar and will have a host of other actors like Anupam Kher, Aarya Babbar, Divya Dutta and Jackie Shroff to name a few.
The film Chalk N Duster will be exploring the student-teacher relationship, and the way in which teachers can influence the life of the teachers. Rishi Kapoor will be again seen in a school- based film after Student of the Year but this time just as a Quiz-master. When the director was searching for a right actor who would fit the bill, it was Shabana Azmi who had referred Rishi Kapoor.
Rishi Kapoor had acted with Juhi in a few successful films in 90's and had given some big hits too before retiring from lead roles.
With Shabana Azmi, Rishi has acted in seven films in all ever since the multi-starrer, Amar, Akbar Anthony in 70's. With Juhi, he has worked in films like Bol Radha Bol and a flop movie, Eena, Meena Deeka. Juhi had expressed great delight in getting to work with him once again. In fact, Juhi herself is returning to acting after her last film Gulaab Gang.
