Varun is a conscientious and extremely focused actor ' Shah Rukh

Shah Rukh Khan is definitely a huge inspiration for many of the youngsters who have stepped into the industry.

Sharing screen space and watching Shah Rukh on the sets, is certainly a great experience and a treat for Varun Dhawan - Shah Rukh's talented co-star from Rohit Shetty's upcoming comedy-drama, Dilwale'.

Says Varun from the Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad, where the film is currently being shot and is in the last leg of its completion, "Not only as an actor, I can go on and on about Shah Rukh as a human being... as a father, as a husband and as a friend. Be it any role, he is number one. I have seen him on the sets with his son, I have seen him calling his family while on shoot...Tomorrow when I get married, or however successful I become, I will try and balance these things which I have learnt from him. He is not only a born actor but also a family man."

And Shah Rukh, too, is all praise for Varun. Besides calling him hardworking and energetic, Shah Rukh feels Varun is a very conscientious actor.

Says he, "I haven't worked with new guys though I have taken many new girls in my films (laughs), I really admire Varun's conscientiousness. He is a wonderful dancer, a fantastic actor, he is in fact a wholesome actor. I hope some of his qualities rub on me and some of my qualities rub on him." He continues, "Even if it is a small dance, Varun quietly goes and rehearses diligently, and if he finds something difficult, he comes and tells us. I have known many actors with good caliber but they would never see success as they are not focused. Varun is not only a good actor but he is a very focused actor as well. I am turning 50 and there could be days of lethargy, but working with these youngsters, who are so driven with wanting to do retakes, or check the monitor or do more research, some days I too feel that I need to work harder."
