Khushi: It is better we forget what happened five years back, Arnav. It is best for both of us.

Only Khushi knew what it took for her to say all those words which she knew would hurt him badly.

" I am sorry, Arnav. But I don't have a way out. We were never meant to meant but we did. So we better part our ways." Khushi thought as she tightly hugged the phone which was displaying Arnav's profile. How much did she wish to be close to the person she loved more than herself? But the irony of destiny lies there. More than going near, she kept on moving away from him with every step she took towards him.

Night or day no longer mattered to them. Because all they could see was the darkness which surrounded them.

Why, Khushi? Why do you reject me every single time? Am I so bad that I cannot get the love of my life?

Arnav's questions were many, but answers from Khushi were none. Will there be any Jawab for Arnav's Sawaal?

Gupta Mansion,

Khushi never wanted to meet the creep, Rahul Kapoor. But she could neither refuse her mother who was inflicting mental torture and was emotionally blackmailing her, could she?

" Hello Khushi Baby. Thinking about me?" Rahul asked with a silly cheap look on his face while running his fingers on her hands, which made Khushi eye-brows twist and mouth twist in disgust as she pulled her hand away from him and moving away.

" Yeah, i was thinking about ways to kill pests. So I was thinking about you." Khushi snapped at him as always while it infuriated Rahul. But he chose to act calm, after all Khushi already had a bad image about him.

" Subah Ho Ya Shyaam Bas Kar Do Hamare Naam, Baby." As Rahul inched closer to her while shamelessly flirting with her, Khushi felt her insides churning in disgust and blood boiling in raw fury.

" Look Mr.Kapoor, use these stupid dialogues for one of those girls, whose names you don't even know but those who share the bed of yours at night. Because, neither are these going to work on me nor will your non-existent beauty exist even in dreams if you continue because only scars will remain on your face after it meets my beautiful killer heels." Khushi could bear anything and everything but one word against her character or an action against her self-respect would result in nothing but a fierce and terrifying Khushi Kumari Gupta.

" You can't speak like this to me. I am your would-be husband." Rahul took Khushi's words as a blow to his so-called manly ego and it certainly infuriated him to a very large extent.

" Not would-be husband you would be a dead body if you even try to touch me once again. I am a black belt in Karate and you can become no one's husband in future if I wish for it. After all, who would want to marry a paralyzed or a impotent man, isn't it?" Khushi knew how to play a game and she was definitely not scared of Rahul. She had seen his strength when he tried to force himself on her where one light slap of hers had twisted his face horrendously and the marks refused to leave his face for quite a long time.

" You will regret this, Khushi." Rahul warned Khushi, but she was not the one to easily bend.

" We will see to it."

That confidence of Khushi irked him, after all he was brought up in a thinking that men could always oppress women and they would never fight back, because they are toys made for men.

But Khushi was surely changing his thoughts about women.

" I dunno what to do Lavanya. I mean I cannot hurt Arnav so much. What is his mistake in all this?" Khushi sobbed while her friend Lavanya side-hugged her to console and comfort her.

" You love him so much and he accepts you as his wife. Then why don't you give your relationship a chance? Why don't you either run away to him or tell Aunty and Uncle about it?" Lavanya was a open-minded girl who with-held love above every other relationship just like Khushi/

" You think I don't want that Lav? I vowed in the presence of fire that every danger that would reach him would first touch me, then how can I put his life in danger. My aunt was killed in front of my eyes for liking a guy. My family is known for honor-killings. They will torture us and kill us. If it was just me who would have been punished, I would have ran to him to enjoy atleast a few hours of love but if they result in danger for Arnav, then I am ready to take a life full of danger and pain. Aur Waise Bhi Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya?" Khushi tried to cheer up her friend who felt immensely bad for Khushi.

Lavanya knew the extent of love Arnav and Khushi had for each other. After all, she was a common friend of both. Lavanya also knew that Khushi shows herself as a very strong girl but deep inside she is all broken, probably beyond repair.

Suddenly Khushi's phone beeped with a notification while Lavanya questioned,

" Mom's message? Or is it again that cheapo?"

Khushi looked at the message with shock written all over face, while more and more tears flowed out of her doe-like eyes whose eye-liner was all smudged.

" Arnav's message, Lavanya. Why is he making it so difficult for me?" Khushi forwarded the phone to Lavanya, asking her to read through it.

Arnav: Khushi, what happened? Did Rahul again try to do something with you?
Arnav: Answer me, dammit.

Arnav's love overwhelmed Lavanya. Khushi was saying time and again that she has no feelings for him and still Arnav, ignoring every thing said to him was asking about her well-being.

Why is it that only true love has to go through so many tests?

" Khushi, you better reply to him. He is so worried and concerned for you." Lavanya advised as she looked at Khushi with pleading eyes. Seeing her two best friends in such deep pain was surely not easy for Lavanya.

" No, Lavanya. I will not talk to him anymore. This relationship of ours need to end. The bond which just gave us pain needs to break. I can't leave him in hopes, Lav. He needs to move on in his life. He cannot stay waiting for me, while accepting the marriage which was a game played by the destiny." Khushi sighed deeply as she held Lavanya's hand in hers, " Lavanya, go and advise him to move on. Please. I beg you."

" Khushi..." Lavanya nodded in disagreement, while tears welled up in her eyes.

" Please, Lavanya. For me and for Arnav. This is the best for him. We can never unite. My family will kill us even if they come to know about this. I cannot let any danger touch him." Khushi spoke through her sobs, while pain choked her throat. Khushi swallowed the painful lump as she said, " Karogi Na Lavanya?"

With no option left, Lavanya had to agree to it. She was going to make the biggest mistake of her life by suggesting a very wrong thing to a person deeply in love. But wasn't it what the Gunaahon ka Devta, the love did? It makes you do sins, which you would never wanted to do.

What will be Arnav's reaction to Lavanya?

I feel so bad for Arnav :( Destiny's play is destroying his heart so cruelly! What exists between them is pure and unconditional love, yet they have to bow down, letting the society rule over.

Rahul is so bad 😡 What kind of mentality he holds! He can lust over Khushi whenever he wants to, without thinking about her comfort levels 🥱 If this isn't called forcing' then what is forcing? 😡

Lavanya seems to be nice 😃 A hope of light in the dark clouds <3 At least there is someone who supports the notion of love, and is with Khushi when her own family is against it 🤢 I wish she plays a major role in uniting Arnav and Khushi ❤️

Oh no! Khushi, you can't do this, please 😳 A little more patience, and everything would be fine 😊 I hope Lavanya explains the correct things to Arnav instead of telling him what Khushi wants her to
