Chanakya Road, Delhi

" God, why did this car break down now? I had given it for servicing only a month ago." Khushi spoke to herself in a frustrated tone as she was on the not-so safe roads of Delhi at 10: 30 PM and she was alone just because of her car.

She had tried repairing it using the basic knowledge she had about the mechanism and working of the cars but end of the day she was not a mechanical engineer or a mechanic to get it right in the darkness which evaded the roads

" I cannot even call Anjali to send someone to pick me up. She might have already slept and she is already in trauma. I cannot increase her stress by telling her that I am struck here. I cannot even call Anita or anyone from office to pick me up as they would take hell lot of time. Let me walk a bit and find a taxi around." Khushi, who was an epitome of boldness though was intimidated by the thought of roaming on the Delhi roads at night, chose to go with her plan.

But all of her confidence and boldness ended the minute she laid her eyes on the gang of boys who were not at all looking decent eyeing at her lustily. She managed to make a stern face and continue looking for any signs of public transport or taxi to reach home. She mentally prayed to Devi Maiyya because she couldn't deny in any manner that she was in danger.

" Aye ladki, beautiful girls like you shouldn't be on roads at this time. Their place is somewhere else, doing something more fruitful." One guy came towards her while eyeing her from head to toe while Khushi gave him a fierce look and continued walking as she ignored him.

" What is such a hurry Madam? Spare sometime for us too. " Another guy came and joined him.

" Look, I neither have time for you neither do I have patience to listen your cheap words. So please Chalte Baniya." Khushi had surely touched the wrong nerve of the eve teasers and now they were all ready to take revenge.

Khushi's long strides were blocked by the eve-teasers who were giving her dangerous looks. She managed to maintain composure, as she tried to dig out pepper spray from her bag, but it was of no avail as they had made the bag stumble down from her hands, much to her bad luck. With no other option left, she kicked the eve-teaser in front of her with her 6-inch stilettos and started running after turning around.

As she continued to run, while continuously looking behind at the eve-teasers, she found herself crashed against a muscular and manly frame, which was vaguely familiar to her. She took the courage to look up so as to know who it is, as she mentally prayed it to not be a eve-teaser.

" Arnav..." His name involuntarily left her lips as she gazed at the sharp featured face in front of her, who was eyeing at her intently.

" Aye, give this girl to us and leave from here. Don't try to be a hero or the number of bones in your body will become zero." (I know I write amazing dialogues!!)

" Leave from here and I will spare you for troubling her, or you will find yourself behind the bars tomorrow." Arnav warned them, while Khushi moved away from him to maintain a decent distance like she always preferred.

" Look this is none of your business and it will be better if you leave from here along with your heropanti which will lead you nowhere except the hospital." One of them warned Arnav with serious looks, while Arnav started walking towards his car while authoritatively holding Khushi's hand as he guided her.

"Abbe Saale, leave her for us. Why are you so concerned about her? Who are you to her?" A guy turned Arnav by his shoulder roughly, making them stop in their paths while a serious and intimidating look developed on ASR's face.

"Patni Hai Meri, so you better Leave from here or you will have to leave this world. And that is Arnav Singh Raizada's word." Arnav dangerously whispered while his mere looks were more than enough to show how serious he was. While Arnav was busy scaring people away successfully, Khushi stood lost in him. Why is that the person who hurt her the most is saving her now?

" You, Khushi Gupta, why were you roaming on the roads at this time? I didn't know that to get designs you do this!" Arnav sarcastically looked at her while it brought back Khushi from her thoughts.

" My car had broken down..." Khushi spoke as she looked away from him with a not-so serious look on her face, which angered him along with her calm and composed tone.

" Couldn't you call me to pick you up if your car had broken down? Why were you walking alone at this hour on Delhi roads, dammit? What if something happened to you?" Arnav questioned her, as he gripped her shoulders tightly seeking answers from her, from both his actions and his words.

" Why would it matter to you if something happened to me? Weren't you the person, who tried to force himself on me after forcefully joining a relationship with me? Why would it matter to you if that guy tried to do the same thing as you did?" Khushi questioned back fiercely, while her eyes spit fire at him and her voice dripped with fluent sarcasm.

" Of course it does. You are my wife and I love you DAMN IT!"

Arnav left her shoulders realizing what left his mouth unintentionally while Khushi stumbled back as she digested the words that fell on her ears.

" I get it. I get it, Mr.Raizada. I surely do. I know that a player like you, who had innumerable flings, and one night stands with girls you didn't even know would do something like this. After all you players see marriage as a license to have s*x isn't it? All this is still a game for you isn't it? But I am not a foolish girl nor do I have anything to expect from you, because I know that you are someone who can just harm me. Mark my words, Mr.Raizada. I WILL NEVER CONSIDER THAT MARRIAGE WHICH WAS NOTHING BUT A REVENGE GAME. A game which snatched my happiness, my dignity, my family and my brother from me. I hate you, Mr.Raizada. More than anyone could have ever hated anyone in this world." Khushi pushed an already numb Arnav by his shoulders, while his expression-less eyes got filled with pain which was burning those chocolate orbs.

Will Khushi ever understand Arnav's love? Will he be able to convince her?
