Sarla, the lead

So so proud of this progressive thinking by MAM creatives. They have made Sarla the lead of the show. A woman, well married for 15-2o years, with three grown up children and a bahu, who is not only chalaak, but also sassy, intelligent and rebellious. She follows no rules, and always knows how to get out of trouble with minimum damage to herself or reputation. She knows how to keep her nanand in check, as well as her samdhan. She also knows how to manipulate her own mother and brother and get the best for her kids ( by best I mean, whatever the kids want they get). She also knows how to keep her husband in check and make him helpless and useless. She is the true hero, and the progressive lady that the creatives have decided to show.

Viewers were so sick of adarsh bahus and betis, of women who sacrificed, and women who tried to bring the family together, leads who cried buckets and tried to keep everyone happy. That zamaana is gone.Now we have leads who give a damn about anybody's happiness except their own, who only look after their own self-interest, family jaaye bhaad mein. Who can fake their own kidnapping, who can plot murders and robberies, who can fake through a marriage with the wrong dulhan, who can bring any young blood to shame with her cunning plans and manipulative behavior.

Poor riya, I think no one prompted her that she was no longer the lead of this show. They decided to let sarla be the hero and save the falling TRP's and baseless content.

ALl hail Sarla, the modern new lead of hindi TV serials. Even Shanti is nothing compared to her highness Sarla Devi.

This is a sarcastic post alert. How are the TRP's of this show considering the story line has not moved an inch, Riya is yet to find out about shanti, Sarla is yet given screen time more than the entire cast put together, Rani is still bichari bahu, Pari is stil getting away with everything, Khusiya is still a doormat, Raghav is still a momma's boy, Shivam has become more of a gharwala than biwi wala, and all the romance between Shivam and Riya is wiped out by their regular fights and chats about shanti and khusiya and nimmi and preeti.

What are the creatives upto? And this show still airs for an hour?

It seems more like bromance between Shivam and Riya these days

And it airs 7 days a week on top of the 1 hour each day

A show where most of their characters are either chor uchakkas or spineless door mats.
