Let's get right down to business. šŸ˜‰

Positives:

  1. Deven turns out to be Trisha's cousin brother. Wow! It was a nice change to Trisha's character to see her emotional side. And the way Rajbir and Raghav tried to talk to Trisha. And then Trisha saying it's a police case not for CBI to handle. It was all well-done and gave another level to everyone.
  2. Rajbir not believing the story. Thank you for not suddenly making him scared of bhoots and aatmas and stuff.
  3. Paritosh Pandey. As soon as I heard Raghav say this name I knew it was him. And Rajbir's knowing smile said the same. But damn his entry was too good! 🤣 Parimal Tripathi yaad aa gaya, Hey Babyy wala. 🤣 And then Raghav actually taking on the role fully with the underhand bribes and what not.
  4. The subtle clues. I loved this throughout the episode. The clues weren't shoved in your face or obvious. They were hidden and subtle. There for you to pick up on, but not so obvious either.
  5. Trisha's concern and Raghav "fikar ho rahi hai meri, hmmm". That was a sweet moment. Especially the way Raghav said that line.
  6. The team distribution. Gauri and Bikram weren't sidelined. I was half-expecting them not to show up at all. And Trisha and Rajbir had something important to do as well.
  7. Revealing the "bhoot". I liked how Trisha and Raghav did that.
  8. Finding Sharmin's body. I like how Raghav didn't reveal everything right away.
  9. Revealing the crime. Kind of bland. But at the same time it made sense. It was unfeeling.
  10. The ending with a mention of Raghav's father's killer and Raghav promising to kill him no matter how long it takes him to find the killer.

Negatives:

  1. The beginning was an exact copy of a CID episode, The Mystery of Room No. 17. The only difference is in CID it was a tourist girl.
  2. A very long intro. And not terrifying at all.
  3. An obvious criminal. And no it wasn't fully the same as the one in the CID episode. But it was still quite obvious. And I won't give away the name. Technically it was more than one criminal, but one main and one not so main. I do have to say the only reason I knew who the criminal was, was because of his face expressions and attempts at being so scary. Else maybe not so obvious.
  4. The stupid horror story. I'm sorry, but first the horror is not terrifying and then the back story is stupid.
  5. Back to the old CBI building. Grr!!!
  6. The inconsistent timings as to when room # 1406 was locked. They keep saying different times with different stories. It's confusing.
  7. When Trisha got the register, she said Sharmen stayed there 3 years ago (the last guest). Yet a few scenes later, they talked about Sharmen disappearing 2 years ago. Inconsistent?
  8. Lack of consistency with Raghav's background. Previously they would show Raghav remembering the childhood incident if he was in a dark, closed room. Yet nothing like that here? Really?

Overall the case was actually quite good for a bhootiya story. You should watch it once. My rating is a 3/5.

All I will say is that the episode turned out to be a pleasant surprise.

The Sun episode turned out to be way better than the Sat one- the reverse swing seems to have commenced since last week.

SK was awesome with his chaste Hindi, very cute😳 Chalchitra LekhakšŸ˜†

Moreover, the personal angle introduced- that the victim was Trisha's cousin, made it more relatable.

The horror element was at least integral to the mystery, which I liked. And I couldn't guess the killer.

More elements, esp. the details, could've been worked on well.

The most important facet of the episode, seemed to me that they have set the stage for a conflict of Raghav and Trisha. With regard to their attitude towards vengeance for the death of a loved one.

While Trisha dealt with the news of her cousin's death emotionally, losing her composure, yet not losing her professionalism (her comment about how the case would be dealt with by the local police), and not attacking the killer when he was confessing his misdeed right in front of her, Raghav on the other hand has sworn to kill his father's murderer.

I liked how he said that addressing Trisha in his mind. He connected his loss to her own recent loss/grief, I guess. Did he subconsciously apologize for taking to a course of action that she might find unpalatable? That's my interpretation😊

I also loved the flicker of concern on Rajbeer's face when Trisha was crying.

Lovely write up, Shreya. You delineated the positives and negatives well.

On the whole, I give the episode 7/10.

I felt like facepalm at many places. For instance, it took two days for Mr Deven to be scared to this level?
Parimal Tripathi was hilarious at many places.
What was the significance of the red stain on the finger while opening the door? I thought or rather assumed that to be the route through which the hallucinogen was introduced. But then, when the woamn could be caught on camera...it was no hallucination! That was an unexpected turn.

Hello Everyone
I am back with the review of episode...

Episode Saturday k episode se to much much better tha... by god...mujhe to doubt tha kahin aisa naa ho k episodes me mazaa nhi aaye aur dhere dhere main raghav dekhna chod du...but episode satisfactory tha...Saturday k episode k baad to ye episode satisfactory lagega hi...

Concept achcha tha...mujhe lga tha uss room me ya hotel k garden me kuch illegal activity chal rhi hogi...jis wajeh se use bhootiya qarar dia gya hai... but aisa kuch nhi tha...

aur uss room ka background kafi confusing tha...kabhi 3 saal, kabhi 2 saal but manager ko malik ne 6 mahine ka time dia tha aur room to 3 saal se haunted tha...yahaan main confused rhi...

sukr hai team k kisi member ko bhoot se darte nhi dikhaya...and I just loved Paritosh Pandey... ek dum mast get up tha... mujhe ye getup dekh kr chupke chupke film k amitabh bacchan ki aur paritosh pandey ki boli sun kr chupke chupke k darmender ki yaad aa gyi...dono ka mix krke Paritosh pandey taiyar kr dia CV's ne...

Raghav kabhi nhi sudhar skta...ek to trisha phone krke puch rhi hai upper se puch rha hai k meri fikr ho rhi hai šŸ˜†šŸ˜†šŸ˜† kisi din ye pakka trisha se marr khayega...boss hokar wo kuch bolti nhi hai uska najayaz fyda utha rha hai...

ek aur baat samjh nhi aayi...ek waiter k kehne pr manager ne uss room ko haunted banane ka socha... manager ko bilkul shaq nhi hua waiter pr...aur sharman ka saaman kab aur kaise gyab kia ye bhi ek question hai

but over and all I like the episode...saturday episode se to kahin behtar tha..and end me raghav ka khud se promise krna k wo apne dad k qatil ko dhud lega...šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘episode ending me char chand lga diye...waise sharad pr ye angry look mast lgta hai

It made me think as well. Because suddenly out of nowhere there was an address to this. And given the fact that they seem to be copying The Mentalist's characters, it makes it even more likely. Don't you think?

I think it was actually them cutting their finger. At the end of it I realized that it may have been one of those red herrings that was designed to throw us off course. Because they showed it twice, viewers would think it was something important only to turn out to be nothing.

Mere ko bhi kuch aisa hi laga tha. I'm happy that the episodes are still up to par.

Concept achcha tha...mujhe lga tha uss room me ya hotel k garden me kuch illegal activity chal rhi hogi...jis wajeh se use bhootiya qarar dia gya hai... but aisa kuch nhi tha...I was thinking something more personal because of the way they started it. It just gave the CID episode feel.

aur uss room ka background kafi confusing tha...kabhi 3 saal, kabhi 2 saal but manager ko malik ne 6 mahine ka time dia tha aur room to 3 saal se haunted tha...yahaan main confused rhi...Absolutely! Matlab koi consistency hi nahi thi!

waise mujhe lga tha k room open krte whqt lock se hath k katne ka kuch to reason denge...but hotel ko apne customers ki bilkul parwah nhi thi...lock kharab hai to kharab rehne do...kya fark padta hai...At the end of it like I mentioned above it turned out to be a red herring. Ho sakta hai ke woh yeh dekhna chahte the ke koi uss kamre ko haat nahi lagata hai isli aisi cheezein hoti hain.

Sharmen ka locket 3 saal se wahaan pada hua tha 😲 I mean seriously kisi ki nzar nhi gyi... waise locket rakhne ki zarurat nhi thi...chitiyaan hi kafi thi lash ka rasta batane k liye... Lekin it would make sense naa? If the room is locked for 3 or 2 or however long it was, cheezein waise ke waise hi rehti.

waise trisha k pass bhootni ki pic kahaan se aayi...uske cousin k camera se to culprit ne sari pics delete kr di thi...Damn I didn't notice that. šŸ˜†

ek aur baat samjh nhi aayi...ek waiter k kehne pr manager ne uss room ko haunted banane ka socha... manager ko bilkul shaq nhi hua waiter pr...aur sharman ka saaman kab aur kaise gyab kia ye bhi ek question hai Well if anyone gives an idea it's accepted if it works. It doesn't matter who gave it. Saman waiter bhi gayab kar sakta hai.
