Why Yami Gautam has not gained that popularity in hindi movies. She is doing movies in South. Has her Fair & Lovely ads have harmed her Bollywood career or her non flimy background is holding her back. Please discuss and no cat-fights please.😛

Yami doesn't have a mentor like Karan who would feed films to his proteges 😆.Sign every good director in the industry and persuade them to cast his protege.She doesn't have connections like Sonam who without any acting talent,bad screen presence,bad dialogue delivery and with most number of flops thrived in this industry only due to Anil's connections .

This is going to sound freaking harsh and insenstivie but this is what I think its her lack of sex appeal and xfactor. Behenji type heroines never ever succeeded in bollywood. She is very gorgeous with talent to boot but no sex appeal if you are behenji type outsider phir koi chance nahi yaar.
