You won't be first male DT member. There have been others.
You follow the same rules that other DT members follow, you don't get to make your own. So you wouldn't be in a position to give people free pass on bashing. If you let things slide there will other moderators to finish the job.
If you are serious (which I don't think you are) , there is an application process. It is a lengthy process. It is also seasonal. It is like a job to be honest. You only get in when they are hiring. They are not hiring all the time.
