It was their first day in college. She has dreamed of college life, friends and Love. She was expecting to meet her princecharming. But instead there was a fight between senior and a newcomer. She was stunned to react, when she saw a guy coming towards her with knife. But suddenly someone pulled her and both fell on the ground. She closed her eyes frightened and opened to find a handsome guy. She kept starring at him.
"Ho sun saathiya maahiya
Barsa de ishqa ki siyahiyaan "
He asked if she is alright. She didn't respond, he patted on her cheeks to check if she is alright.
"Rang jaaun rang rang jaaun ri
Haari main"
She blinked her eyes. She smiled seeing him. He then pulled her with him and moved her to a safer place and went to fight back the seniors.
In class, She was all lost in her dreamy world when someone sat next to her.
"Can I get a pen? My Pen is not writing properly"
She is angered at the person who broke her dreams. She was about to scold him but got shocked to see him there. She smiled dreamingly at him again.
"Excuse me" he called her but she just kept smiling. A smirk appeared on his face as it was not new to him.
He patted on her shoulder and it was then she realised what she has been doing. Her cheeks turned pink coz of blushing "What?" she asked him tucking the strand of hair behind her ear.
"Pen?" he asked her and she gave all her pen to him.
"Are you not going to write?" he asked and she realized her mistake once again.
"Yeah I should" she said looking down again tucking the strand of her hair behind her ear. He took one pen and gave the remaining to her.
"Isn't he the one who initiated the fight with the seniors today morning?" a girl was gossiped behind her seat pointing towards him. Suddenly she got frightened. He understood her nervousness.
"Don't worry, they did wrong to a pretty girl like you. so i had to make them realise their mistake" he said winking at her.
She was confused and shocked as how he can read what she is thinking and blushed thinking if he also got to know what she is thinking about him.
A fat boy asked him to move him and sit . When he moved his legs touched hers and she shivered.
"tujhpe main jhar jhar jhar jaaun
hoon piya bas teri main
ho chhoo le to khari main"
"Why are you smiling at me always? Am I looking funny?" he asked her. She wanted to hit herself for behaving like a stupid infront of him.
"Woh.. actually.. nothing" she said tucking her hair behind her ears once again.
"Whats your name?" he asked playing with the pen when a girl came running towards him, and hugged him.
"Siddhart.. my baby.. why you joined this course. you said you will join my course" she said pulling his cheeks.
"Actually I didn't get that course since I applied late. Anyways we are in same college na" he said removing her hands from him.
"Who is this chasmish?" she asked pointing to Roshini. Roshini got nervous and tucked her hair behind her ear not knowing what to say. "Whats your name?" she asked again this time more demanding.
"Leave her . BTW you look so beautiful today" he commented on her.
"Really.. awaah,.. my baby finds me beautiful" she pecked a kiss on his cheeks.
Roshini got jealous seeing her too close with him. She knew she just meet him today but she can't control it. Sid noticed her nose becoming red. He smiled.
Its been more than a month . They both sit together daily but she never talked or asked him anything. Whenever he asks her anything she blushes and answers it in oneword. One day he was absent. She felt like something in her life is missing that day. She felt she forgot something. The next day he came and sat next to her asusual.
"Why were you absent yesterday?" she asked looking at the ground. He didn't reply. She asked again this time looking sideways. He didn't reply. Finally she lost her temper, "I was asking you?" she said looking into his eyes.
"Oh I'm so sorry, I thought first time you asked the floor and second time you asked the air" he said imitating her by tucking his hair behind his ear. She couldn't control her laughter. Both of them laughed.
"Are you nervous around me?" he asked her.
"Woh.. No" she said raising her hand but held her hand with his one hand and tucking the strand of hair behind her ear with his other hand. She looked into his eyes.
"You are" he said smiling. "BTW You didn't tell your name. Its been more than a month"
When again his girl friend entered, "What are you doing with this chasmish?" she asked angrily.
"Nothing. Just talking" he said smiling.
"I don't think so Sid. Are you trying to cheat behind me? Don't you know that we are engaged. " she said showing her ring finger. Roshini was shocked. Siddharth looked at her with a sorry face.
"And you, don't try to come near him. He is my future husband. Our parents fixed our marriage after college. BTW you are not his type. I mean look at you, chasmish."
Roshini started to cry. He don't know what to say whom to support. He know he should support Roshini. But in this situation if he chooses Roshini then the problem will become big he thought. Roshini wiped her eyes when her specs fell down. Siddharth took it to return her but she ran off not saying anything. That was the last day he saw her. 3 years passed off. He asked many about her but noone knew anything.
One day in his office,
"Sir someone has come to meet you" his secretary told him
"Send them in"
A young lavishly looking woman entered his cabin. She was shocked to see sid there. She didn't know "Khurana Industries" CEO will be Siddharth. She started to blush seeing him. He didn't remember her. She is a completely changed woman now. She is taking care of "Patel Industries". She told her parents she will never return to that college again after that incident. She moved to her nani's home in Delhi and joined a college there. She changed her personality and became a bold woman after that day. But when she sees him again today, she felt a tickling effect in her stomach. He looks more handsome now she thought.
"Hi I'm Siddharth Khurana" he said extending his hands.
"I'm Roshini, Roshini Patel" she said shakking his hands with one hand and the other hand automatically tucked the strand the hair behind her ear. A doubt crept Sid's mind but he ignored it.
"So, how can I help you?" he asked her.
"Woh.." she started and stopped immediately. Sid's doubt now got increased hearing her childish blushing voice.
"We are planning to do a joint agreement on the upcoming project. My father has already talked about this to your dad" she said looking at the floor. Sid looked at her carefully. He started to move near him "Yeah papa told". She looked at him confused and raised her hand and Sid held it and tucked her hair behind her ear.
"You were about to do this, right?" he asked her. Tears welled up in her eyes. He took out the specs from his shelf and made her wear it. She looked at him confused.
"You look beautiful with this." She stood up and was about to leave when he held her hands.
"main ret si, boond ka zariya tu
paa ke tujhe bheeg jaaun re.. "
"So your name is Roshini. Why are you always running? Atleast today give me a chance to talk" he said walking towards her "I searched for you everywhere. Where you went? You went just becoz she told something? You didn't even wait to hear what I was about to say?"
"What you would have said?" she asked. He was shocked at her response, "That she is your fiancee and you are going to marry her?" she asked again.
"No" he said softly. "Then what?" she asked irritated.
"That I love you.." he said and she looked surprised. "What?" she asked confused.
"tar jaaun tar tar jaaun
dariya ye tar jaaun jee
ishq ye paake main tera
nikhar jaaun ri..."
"What? You don't love me?" he asked her.
"Yes I do.. " she blurted out. She noticed a smirk on his face and realised what she told. Her cheeks turned pink. He enjoyed what she was doing. " So you too love me" he said moving closer.
"Yes but what you are married right ? What about your girlfriend?"
"On that day after you went I shouted at her. She was never my girlfriend. Our marriage was arranged coz of a business agreement. In the evening I told my parents everything and they cancelled the marriage " he said smiliing at her.
"piya bas teri main
ho.. chhu le to khari main
toh khari main khari main.."
She smiled back. He moved closer to her and she closed her eyes. He kissed her eyelids, then her cheeks and was about to kiss her lips when his phone rang. It was his papa.
"How was the meeting beta?"
"This agreement is confirmed dad" he said in the phone and pulled her into a hug. She hugged him back tightly.
"Ho.. sun saathiya maahiya
Barsa de ishqa ki syahiyaan"
