Rajasthani girl Garima Parihar, playing Nimmi in the popular show 'Mere Angne Mein' is quitting the show.

Neither the actress has plans to do any other show nor she has any issues with the production house. The actor from Sirohi has decided to bid goodbye to the popular show as she is getting married and her would-be husband lives in the US.
A reliable source shared with us that Garima has put everyone in shock sharing the news of her quitting the show. As per the source, "Garima is getting married to a US based businessman, and plans to settle down in the US.

She is playing the role of Nimmi, the younger sister of Shivam played by Karam Rajpal on the show. The actress will shift her base to the US, where her husband-to-be lives.
The actress has not made the news official yet, but soon she will be announcing the same. And when JT got in touch with the actress, she said, "It's very difficult to comment. Let the right time come and I will talk about it.

And the production house has decided to send Nimmi, her character to a foreign country for further studies thereby ending her character." The makers of the show were building Nimmi's character, and to find her replacement is not a very good idea according to them.

When we contacted the actress, she said, "I don't want to comment on this at the moment. It's something personal."

Not sure how I feel- I mean I have no issues with Garima as the actress (obviously or that would be a bit strange) but as her character, Nimmi? She was really grating on my nerves and in the previous episode I saw- yet again she was mocking Riya for simply doing what Shanti asked her to do, etc. I dont know what the character's problem is- now she is just taking it out on Riya because she can, not for any valid reason. Not that I believe there was any to begin with- but hey that's a whole other debate. Anyway, maybe if her character is gone they will develop Preeti's character a bit more and give her some balls of her own. To me its a good thing to remove people who would otherwise be "everyone's saviour". Teach people how to fight their own battles and stand up for themselves instead of relying on others. Khusiya will have to learn to speak up for herself without Nimmi around- as will the others. It will make her grow (you would hope or expect). But of course they will end up doing something with Riyas character and make her the saviour of these people who will not help themselves! Glad for Riya actually, she wont have Nimmis passive aggressiveness (and sometimes not so "passive"!) to deal with on top of everything else. In a way though, it will be interesting if they put another "nimmi" in the show. Like the new Vyom- that guy is doing a MUCH better job as Vyom. Who knows?? Maybe if theres another actress playing her character the personality will seem to make more sense?

A new actress will probably make nimmi totally evil and not understandable and she will be a total mini Saral and they will ruin her character even more. Its rare for a show to have replacements who are actually good. The new hottie who plays vyom is an exception. Bt the old vyom was such a bore that any1 could have replaced him and seemed better than him. If she is leaving though they should take her character out of the show for a little while and then bring her back and so whatever changes they do her character would be ok with some of us.
