Everyone gets a second chance but what we make of it is, well, up to each one of us. And this couldn't apply more to the promising actor, Armaan Jain. So what if his debut film tanked, his screen presence was totally accepted and applauded by the audience.
Now the actor is gearing up for his second chance, and we're told that this time he's going all out to build a fan base. You see, the lad doesn't want his second chance to be his last!
Jain is all set for his re-entry to the big screen and if sources are to be believed, looking at his determination and latest photo-shoot, there are many filmmakers toying with re-launching him. Mhapuskar All Set To Be Back

Rajesh Mhapuskar made his debut with Ferrari Ki Sawaari in 2012. Three years later, the director is gearing up for two films, one a Marathi film. He has also written a love story based in Maharashtra, which will start rolling next year. The director, we hear, is talking to new-gen actors as he wants to create a new type of chemistry on screen.

imran Postponed Again

The cast and crew of Vishal Bhardwaj's Rangoon are currently busy with the pre-production of the film, which, we all know, is based on World War 2 as its backdrop. The leading actors, Saif Ali Khan, Shahid Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut, are currently preparing for the film, which will start rolling in Arunachal Pradesh in mid-November. The makers have decided to finish the film in one go, which means shooting will end by February.

We also hear that Ranaut now takes a keen interest in the post-production of her films and has planned to learn the same from Bhardwaj once the shoot of this film wraps up. On the other hand, we also hear that Hansal Mehta'sSimran, which was to go on the floors in the US by March next year, has been postponed to June. But since Mehta wanted to capture US particularly in the month of March, will they now wait for March 2017 or will they start rolling in June 2016, regardless of the change in month. It's all up to Mehta.

102 Not Out Postponed

Long ago, Umesh Shukla had announced his next film 102 Not Out with Amitabh Bahchan and Paresh Rawal in the lead roles. But we hear that after the debacle of All Is Well, the director was asked to rework the script and will now have to wait till the middle of next year for Bachchan's dates.

The film is based on a play of the same name. We hear that its script was sounding a little stale and the makers have decided to give it a new touch. We also hear that the film will be co-produced by AB Corp and Umesh Shukla Productions. Meanwhile, Bachchan will start Sujoy Ghosh's next.

Aanand L Rai's Factory

Aanand L Rai's third production venture, Happy Bhaag Jayegi, has already started rolling in Punjab. The film features Abhay Deol and Diana Penty. But it's not only big-ticket films that Rai is eyeing. We hear that his associate director Rahul Shanklya is making his debut under Colour Yellow Productions.

The film is called Nimmo and is a small-budget, art-house film. A source close to the production house reveals, "The film is based in a small village in Madhya Pradesh. It's a small-budget film, which will be shot in one month and shooting has already begun. Aanand wants to capture the essence of good cinema and has decided to make all kinds of films."

Mahesh Mathai Is Back!!!

Mahesh Mathai started his career with advertising and is still referred to as a master' in that domain. The director made his feature film debut in 1999 with Bhopal Express, at a time when content-based films were not working.

Now we hear that the director is planning a big film, a biopic based on an Air Force pilot. Anjum Rajabali has penned this hard-hitting biopic and the film is titled Salute. The makers are looking for a leading actor who can pull off this character.

Force 2 China Schedule Postponed

John Abraham recently injured himself while shooting for Abhinay Deo's nextForce 2. The actor has been advised bed rest for at least two weeks. As a result, the China schedule of the film, which was to start next week, has been postponed.

The new China schedule will now start in mid-November. A source from the unit says, "John needs to do many more action sequences and that's why the makers want him to heal fully before they start rolling the next schedule."

Guess Who?

When it was announced that this director had been roped in by this particular producer, everyone assumed the film wouldn't happen. But it did. Yes, despite all the creative differences between both parties, the film was made.

Then the industry was abuzz with whispers that there would be loads of problems during post-production, and that did happen. And it kept happening! But the work got done. Prior to this, there was a war of ideas when the teaser was being made. But, to everyone's surprise, that too got done.

Now we hear that the film is approaching its release but, apparently, the way it has shaped up is neither to the satisfaction of the producer nor the director. Now, the industry is once again abuzz, wondering whether this film will release according to plan or whether it will be postponed once again! Let's wait-n-watch!
