7 more days passed in the meantime Rey took Taani to the doctor her reports were normal Doctor has stopped the antibiotics and even the swollen form has disappeared and her pain has subsidized a lot. Now she was quite well occasionally it sometimes pain but according to Doctor it will also go way soon. Rey still never skips her massage. In the past seven days they have come more nearer sleeping in each others arms has become normal. They have discussed about their marriage and Rey has made her understand that the marriage was destined to happen and may be they missed the rituals and steps but it does not change the fact that deep down in their hearts they both wanted it to happen and they have no regrets regarding it. Taani has come out of her insecurities and now she perfectly knows that her past cannot effect or change Rey's love for her, both loves and trust each other immensely but neither of the two has confessed. Their love was beyond any confession.
Swayam and Sharon had to postpone the reception for one week because Rey wanted their reception only to happen after he discusses about their sudden marriage with Taani. He wanted to know exactly her thoughts and wanted to give her time before rushing to anything. Moreover deep down he wanted her happily to enjoy at least their reception ceremony. For him things couldn't be better when two days back sitting in the terrace resting her back on his chest she expressed her desire that she wanted to put on mehendi and churas and dress traditionally in their reception party. She even suggested to merge her Swayam bhai and Sharon bhabhi's engagement with their reception. Rey's heart flattered and skipped a bit hearing her excitement regarding their reception and his heart also filled with love for her seeing her care for his chotti and his buddy.
It was then decided that their reception and Swaron's engagement would be held in the following Sunday. She even teased Sharon and both the girls calling each other babhi and teasing each other was a treat to watch, their shopping expeditions for their respective reception and engagement was the most tiring event for both the boys in the past few days but during those trips his heart overwhelmed seeing her buying most of the time red coloured outfits if it's a traditional wear. Sharon has also helped her with lots of jeans and skirts, modern outfits for her upcoming college days. Rey was sure now he could officially confess his love and she was mentally and emotionally ready to reciprocate without an insecurities.

It was early morning, Rey was still on his bed sleeping but soon his sleep got disturbed with the sun-rays coming from the window pane disturbing his sleep he was twisting and tossing in the bed lazily, he was missing the warmth of holding someone in his arms, precisely Taani the love of his life and his newly wedded wife. Hearing the small jingling sounds constantly coming in his ears his eyes forced open searching through the room trying to find out the origin of the sound and it was then his eyes got struck in the particular corner of the room and even he identified the source of those small melodious jingling sounds.
There she was sitting on the dressing stool clad in the beautiful red anarkali.
TAANI's ANARKALI:
Her hairs wet, few drops of water dripping down her bare back traveling through the back of her cream coloured smooth neck and disappearing God knows where, the dori of her dress still not tied her back clearly visible as her hairs were on her right shoulder. His throats literally went dry with a want in his eyes to hold her in his arms and suck the droplets from her neck to quench his thirst. It was a mesmerizing soothing scene early morning yet creating a passion and longing in his eyes. Soon his thoughts were distracted.
Her bangles were creating the jingling sound as she was rubbing her hip long hairs with the soft white towel. His heart skipped a bit when she thrashed her long hair back resulting in few drops of water falling on his face, he immediately closed his eyes but those cold droplets were even not helping instead was just increasing his want for her more. He once again opened his eyes only to witnesses her long hairs scattered on her back he frowned as her back was not visible anymore but when he saw her filling her parted hair with the bright red sindoor he smiled it was a soothing scene in front of his sleepy eyes. He was staring at her without blinking her little act has filled his heart with love and longing a feeling that she belongs to him, she is his TAANI" she is adoring her parted hair with the sindoor of his name.
This small traditional Indian gestures were never his cup of tea being brought up in abroad, but when she does it he feels connected, wanted and the feeling of possessiveness and belongingness has strengthened in his heart in the last few days after their marriage and it makes him feel more connected to her in an unbreakable bond. While Rey was busy adoring his wife, the innocent beauty was busy in her own world. She was staring at her own sindoor cladded image lost in her thoughts. Her heart has wholeheartedly accepted his love and now she is far away from all her doubts confusions and insecurities, she could only dream about their reception which is to be held the next day, her lips curved into a shy smile, she was feeling shy to herself when along with the thought of reception she tried visualizing the moment she will confess her love and would give him all his husband rights and become his forever.
Unaware to his own act his legs slowly has take him near her. He sees her lost and smiling slowly he taps her shoulder she gets little surprise by seeing him suddenly but she smiles at him through the mirror wishing him Good Morning' in her melodious voice. Rey returns her smile and holds her shoulder and makes her stand keeping his eyes locked with her through the mirror she feels little shy and nervous with his sudden act. He slowly takes her towards him by touching her thin waist. He slowly takes a hold of her right shoulder and turns her around so now her back is facing him. He gently takes her hair and puts it on her left shoulder. It gives him a clear access of her nape - it was so smooth like butter, his breathes become countless. Aaapp... Fresh...' she tries to avoid as his touches were increasing some unknown strong desires in her heart, but she couldn't complete Rey placed one of his right hand fingers on her lips and she hears his deep husky voice sh..shhh...' He ties the strings of her dress. He lingers his fingers around her neck for a bit longer. His strong fingers was sending a shivers down her spine in pleasure. For the first time, she feels an extra ordinary happiness and satisfaction and a strong urge to just confess her love right at that moment. Then he gradually turns her so that he could see her angelic face now asking her to wait with his eyes he goes towards his cupboard and brings out a small box. By the time she bended to take the lucky charm chain from the dressing table which from past 7 days she is putting on her neck as a symbol of mangal sutra. He comes back and stops her from wearing it, he takes it and keeps it back on the dresser table then making her face him he was holding her arms, feeling shy she looks down to avoid his intense gaze but he taps her chin to make her look into his eyes. She slowly raises her eyes to meet his gaze. They stare for a bit longer before he brushes his fingers on her forehead pushing back those loose strands of her hair that fell right across her eyes.
He held her wrist and made her sit on the bed, holding her palms in his he said, Taani jab humarie shaddi hui I was not prepared, I could neither gift you a wedding dress nor jewelleries I could only give you my mom's saree and ornaments. During the shaddi when panditjii asked for the mangal sutra I didn't had it and that's the reason I tied my chain around your neck which I am wearing since I was 14. Later on I bought the mangal sutra but I was waiting for the right moment, Taani can I?'
Before he could even complete she nodded her head in approval. Rey took out the mangal sutra and holding her arms he brought her a little bit more closer she without any hesitation rested her head on his shoulder and as soon as she felt his warm fingers on the back of her neck she closed her eyes it was a divine moment. He tied the sacred knot and the moment it was finished he separated her from him and looked into her eyes, they were still closed, he cupped her face in his palms and placed a warm kiss on her forehead. She opened her eyes and few small droplets of tears were shining in her eyes and before his forehead could show lines of worries for her tears she smiled holding her mangalsutra and kissed it.
TAANI's Mangalsutra:
She rubbed her eyes and holding his palms said, Maat sochiya kuch bhi, mai bohot khush hu and yeah khusi ki ashu hai, thank you Rey for everything' her little confession once again arose the sense of duty of a husband within him, and she felt herself complete once again. They stare a bit longer his knuckles touches her cheeks just lightly caressing it. "Jaldi tayaar ho jayoo aj hum bahar jayengae, kuch important kaam bhi hai and rest of the time I want to spend with you, waiase bhi aj Swayam and Sharon busy hai for tomorrow's event" He was about to go but she held his wrist, he turned, she made her sit beside him.
T-Woh mujhae aap sae kuch puchna tha?
R-Bolo.
T- Mujhae pata hai aap nai mujhae jo chain pehenaya tha that is your lucky charm but will you take it back now?
R- Taani kya tumhae mangal sutra pasand nahi ayaa, if you want we can change.
T-Nahii bilkul nahii, it's beautiful and aap ka diya hua mangalsutra means a lot to me. But...
R-Bolo Taani kya baat hai?
T- Nahiii pehele aap boliya na...will you take that back, after all it's your lucky charm.
R-(Cupping her face) Mujhae nahi pata tum kiu puuch rahhi ho, but if you are talking about my lucky charm then Yeah it was surely my lucky charm but now I really don't want it because (pacing a soft kiss on her forehead) my luck is now with me, Taani you are my good luck, JAAN you are the one who bares good luck for me, so aab mujhae chain ki koi jarurat nahii hai . But now you say tumnae aysa kiu poocha?
T- (Placing her head on his shoulder and hugging him softly even Rey tightened his arms by pulling her near) Mangal sutra koi bhi larki ke liya bohot khass hai, aj apnae mujhae pehenaya it will be the most precious treasure but aap ka chain it holds a special place in my heart, apnae mujhae woh taab pehenaya jaab apnae mujsae shaddi kii, Rey ma ka woh saraee, gahanae and this chain mai kabhi apnae aap sae juda nahi karungie, they connected me with you eternally forever. They are price less for me.
He departed her from the hug, and looked into her eyes, "You know what, Tum khud bohot special ho mere liya, and keep the chain, better jab tum western pehen na you wear the chain and when you wear traditional you have your mangal sutra" She smiled nodding her head and he left for the wash-room by throwing her an heart-warming smile.
Later on coming out from the washroom Rey was getting ready, Taani has already gone down, she was preparing the breakfast and Swaron was sitting on the dining discussing about the next day rather it was Sharon who was talking and Swayam was just nodding his head accepting all her unwanted unreasonable demands. She sat with them smiling but soon her cheeks turned pink as Rey was screaming her name from upstairs and Sharon was not allowing her to go teasing her. Whereas though Taani is now married to Rey but a brother can never witness his sister's closeness even if it is her husband and the possessive bhai Swayam to avoid all these drowned himself in the morning newspaper.
Upstairs Taani entered and saw Rey standing in front of the mirror with just a towel wrapped on his lower half, his upper body completely naked water droplets dripping down, her throat instantly went dry in desire to be in his arms to feel him, Rey saw her staring and was smirking, he came closer and holding her waist he made her look in his eyes, her palms rested on his bare chest the feelings itself made her shiver in love and it was nothing less for Rey but today he has planned something big for her and he didn't want to get late. Instantly whole blood of her body rushed to her cheeks when huskily he said, I don't mind my beautiful wife staring at me, but madam can u just hand over me my dress we are getting late,' shyly she looked down and gulping her saliva she said "mai, matlab you want me to take out your clothes?' He held her palms, "why not? Biwi ho meri, and can't I expect this much care from my wife? Taani you know what seriously I want you always to take care of my outfits, wallets watch, mobile and laptop before I go out. Taani I was very young, but mainae dekha hai mom used to keep ready everything for dad and I liked that ..." He couldn't complete she turned back and walking to the cupboard "aap ready ho jayo, I will arrange every day, even I was thinking to do it, mai khud cahata tha but then laga ki if you get angry with my interference" she instantly felt his touch on her shoulder she turned he was staring at her eyes and then heard his voice " biwi ho meri, haq hai tumhara mujh par, and yeah koi interference nahi hai, it's your right just like mujhae haq hai tumhae kuch bhi kehenae kai yeah tumsae kuch bhi mangnae ka. Samjhii...?" She smiled and ruffled his hair, he frowned as she messed his precious hairs which he has set taking lots of time to look perfect for the perfect occasion which he has planned, their first date.
