Why does SSK never make sense?

So currently Prem has been hypnotized by Indravati but he could enter the temple despite that. But when Sanjana was hypnotized by Indravati she couldn't enter the temple. How does this even make sense? The CVs really need to use their brain rather than thinking of an awful lot of supernatural tracks.
