After walk on the beach, they both reached their home but when they entered inside, they were shocked to see his friends there.
"Rey, where were you?" Vicky asked him, taani and rey look at each other then at his friends who were settled in hall with his parents & her tauji, Rishi was also there. Avantika got up, and walked inside the kitchen, Taani followed her inside to help her while Rey sat with his friends.
"I went out with taani." Rey answered him, he look at his father, asking him through eyes if his friends know about the marriage. Ranivijay nodded negatively, they hadn't announce their wedding news yet as they were waiting for Taani & Rey to return back home
"Baccho! We have a news for you all." Avantika said as she entered their with a plate full of sweets.
"What news, Avantika aunty?" Sara asked her excitedly.
"We have fixed Rey & Taani's marriage-" Avantika announced happily while her announcement shocked others, specially swayum who was staring at his father, his father, rishi nodded positively, confirming the news.
"What? Rey, don't you think its too early for marriage? I mean you guys haven't even completed college-" Sara spoke after coming out the shock state she was in. Anger crossed through his bronze visage, Rey was glaring at her, displeased by her comment.
"I dont think so, sara. They both are adult and know what is best for them. And as friends, you guys should support him not question his decision." Ranvijay spoke before rey would, he knew his son has bad temper and sara's comment hadn't done anything good but angered him. Though, he wasn't expecting his friends to be overwhelmed after this news knowing they don't like taani but he expected atleast a smile from them but nevertheless, their opinions doesn't matter to him. He has his parents blessing, and taani's support, he doesn't need anything else.
"Congratulations, dude!" Swayum stepped forward, and hugged him, showing his happiness. One by one, all his friends came and congratulate him. Soon, Ranvijay and Rishi left from their, leaving the kids behind. While avantika went in taanis room, to spend some time with her as she know about the differences between rey's friends and taani, and she doesn't want her to feel left out as rey is busy with his friends.
"When is your marriage, Rey?" Sharon asked him.
"After 2 weeks." Rey answered, he didn't tried to hide the excitement he felt while telling them.
"Rey, why marriage suddenly? Its not your age to get married. And what about your dance? And your dance academy?" Simmi questioned him, while other look at him curiously.
"Its my life's decision, I'm not answerable to anyone. And why are you guys so worried about my dance? Its my life, my decisions, it's not anyone's concern what i do in my life-" He snapped at them angrily. He felt like, more than him they are worried about his dance, it made him feel like, just his dance matters to them, not him. He understand they are his friends, they are concern about him but they dont have any right over his life's decision.
"I think, you guys should leave." Rey told them, closing his eyes to calm his anger. He got up and left from there.
"Simmi, what was the need to say that?" Swayum sneered at with anger.
"I was just concern about him. Yoy forgot how he used to say that he will get marry before he turn 25 and achieve something in his life. May be your sister is forcing him to marry her like always-" Simmi retorted back with same anger. Swayum look at her with pure disgust, he couldn't believe how low his friends think about his sister.
"It can be, its not first time taani is forcing him for something." Vicky said, agreeing with sara while other agreed with them.
"You people disgust me. Rey is right, its better we leave because there is no use of talking to you people." Swayum snapped at her, and left from there while sharon followed him. Others followed them too, and left the house unaware of the fact that Rey had listened their conversation who came to apologize for his rude behavior, but after hearing their talks he didn't felt guilt that he was feeling few minutes, in fact their talks had forced him to take a important decision in his life. He never thought one day he will think of doing this but there is no other choice left for him.
Rey walked upstairs, opening the door of his room he found the two most important ladies of his life busy in talking to each other but when they both saw him, they smiled at him.
"Mom, Taani, I have decided something-" Rey told them, the atmosphere grew serious when they saw the seriousness in his eyes. They waited for him to continue.
"Mom, I have decided that after our marriage, we are shifting to london with you & dad. I m sorry, taani, i took this decision alone but i think its best decision, for our happiness." Rey told them, with confidence reflecting in his words. His voice was strong, and avantika & taani, both knew that he is serious and meant his words.
"Rey, what are you saying? You want to leave india? your friends?" Taani questioned him. Avantika look at her son, she knew when he had took such decision there must be some valid reason behind it. Rey might act impulsive at times but he always know what he is doing and what will be the consequences of his actions.
"Taani, friends are part of life but in the end, its just you-me & our baby. I want your & my baby's happiness and i know you both will never get it in between all those people who always taunts you, hold you responsible for every damn thing. I would never want my child to grow in so much negativity. Taani, don't argue with me over this. I really want us to go and live happily in london with mom-dad and our baby. And don't think, i m taking this decision in haste, i know what i am doing, and i really want to do this-"She was shocked, not able to decide what she should say. Avantika understood her dilemma and cupped her face.
"Taani, I think Rey is right. You both should shift to london with us, it will be change for you both. And I know you also want your child to grow in happy environment." Avantika said to her with tenderness in her voice, rey walked over the bed and sat beside his mother, with his face toward taani.
"But Rey, aapka career?"
"Taani, you don't worry, I'll manage everything there. I'll join dad's business then will start working on my academy, and dekhna very soon, i'll open dance academy on my own. I just need your support, Please, taani." Rey said to her. Taani look at him, she knew he really want this but she wonder what drove him to take such decision.
"If you are okay with it then why will i have any problem." Taani answered them. His lips curved into wide smile, forgetting that his mother was there, he pulled her in his arms, hugging her tightly.
"Ye! Now, We will live together. Like a big happy family." Avantika squealed like a child, taani & rey broke the hug and pulled her in their embrace.
"And you will get to spoil your grandchild. Right, mom?" Rey asked her,to tease her but he now the real reason behind his mother's happiness is that they all will live together. Like a big happy family that his mother always wanted.
"Off course. I'm his dadi, it's my birth right to spoil your child with my love." Avantika answered him back. Taani shook her head at the mother-son duo but was happy that she will spend rest of her life with these amazing people, who love her for what she is. Her flaws didn't lessen their love for her. His family has accepted her the way she is, and its a true blessing for her.
Rey hugged them tightly, leaving his friends behind will hurt him, but he know family is more important than anything else. It's for betterment of his family. He is doing all this for his child, and that reason itself is enough to justify his every decision.
