Shveta Salve was being considered to host Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa this year.

Mona Singh seems to be doing a so-so job of anchoring Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa but it's a known fact that Shveta Salve was being considered for the job earlier.

The buzz doing the rounds is that she quoted a huge sum to host the show. Shveta's loss is surely Mona's gain. But we hope Mona had more finesse when it comes to hosting the dance reality show!

I read d article in BT in d morning.

As far as i rem Mona has signed a contract wid Sony & she will be promoting new shows on Sony.

The way Shveta got replaced at the last minute with Mona is a bit shady. If they wanted someone more popular to begin with, then they should have got Mona in the first place. They thought Shveta was a bit less distant and could not connect with the audience, but Mona is too bubbly for my taste.
