everything depends on channel's whim. infinite becomes finite or even super short if trp falls, and supposed finite shows becomes soap operas. this is the reality here...ekta kapoor sey ummeed karna hi nehi chahiye.

Paanch was planned to be of just 52 episodes but it got extension so it ended wid 68 episodes. Mahabharat was supposed to last for just 5 months but it got extension n it ran for 5 more months so it ended in exactly in 11 months. Razia Sultan too is finite series which started on 2nd March n it will end on 23rd Oct. I think Zindagi Wins was also a finite series. Indian TV shows only care abt how much episodes they can make. QH is obsessed like anything to make 1000 episodes.
