Good churail, bad churail.

This is my first time on this forum and have a question.

I was wondering, just as there is a good ghost versus a bad ghost or a good witch versus a bad witch in Western folklore, is there such a thing as good churail versus bad churail, good daayan versus bad daayan or good bhoot/bhootnee versus bad bhoot/bhootnee in Indian folklore?

There are good chudails but most of us desi people simply call them aatma nowadays
