To the CVs I'd just like to say thanks for creating such a warm and believable character who achieved the unachievable - he stayed in character right until his last breath. And to the actor, Puru Sir, the primary reason Ronnie endeared himself to the viewers was because of how you interpreted him for us. Thank you for your fine, subtle, realistic portrayal. I'm missing Ronnie already!
Sharing my favourite memories of Ronnie:
Ronnie laughing with Richa and Sunny over his video of Ananya throwing hot tea on the eve-teasers
Ronnie teasing Sunny and Ananya
The way he handled Ananya's rejection of him as a lover - with real pain and yet with so much dignity
Ronnie consoling Ananya and her family when she found out about her father
Ronnie taking on Manav in yesterday's episode - that was just so satisfying
Ronnie trying to talk sense into Ananya, Richa and Kabir - he was such a calming, sensible man, negotiated the tiffs between Ananya and Richa with such tact. He was the glue to the friendships and the many relationships. The solid, dependable friend and employee who never let anyone down, not even at the cost of his own life.
His presence on screen was so solid and satisfying and yet so understated that before we knew it, without any fireworks, he'd stolen into our hearts.
Going to miss you Ronnie!
