"The Rain Said It All"
Yash entered in the room and looked around,
the room was looking
perfect. Who can say just few hours back It
was indeed messy.? They
both struggled whole day and cleaned
together. Finaly its looking like a home.
Aarti come out from the washroom, looking
fresh. She looked at him,
"Are not you feeling hungry?"
Yash realised his hunger then and
remembered they didnt eat anything
from morning after breakfast , "Yes, i am." He
said.
Aarti sat on the bed, tired enough after whole
day, "Say me what you
want to eat, i'll make."
Yash: But there is nothing in home to make.
Yes, then only Aarti become aware of it that
They just come to this
house today and thats also on different
circumstances. And after they
come here they are just behind cleaning the
house and settling other
things. So its not possible to get any food
here.
"Thats true." Aarti sounded dissapointed, she
was very hungry.
Yash: Its ok, i'll bring something from
outside. But before his leaving
Aarti stopped him, "Hey, listen. This is so late
at night. What you will
get at this hour?"
Aarti was drained totally. Yash saw how much
tired she is, he should
think about the food before. He was feeling
bad. He find some way, he
searched for something in his bag, And after
getting the packet he
asked, "Are you ok with noodles tonight?"
It was like her face colour changed in
moment, she stood up, "I am so
hungry and anything is like devine for me.
Give me five minutes, i'll make it."
Her excitement to see the food was amezing,
"You sit Aarti, i'll make
it." Yash replied.
"Why you? I am here na. So i can make."
Yash: I know you are my wife and i know
today your mother gave many
advises for being good wife. But you can
apply those latter. But this
time give me chance," He winked at her and
went to make the dinner.
When he returned with two bowls get her
involved in books totally.
"Thank you." Aarti said.
They take their meal and after a few momemts
silence Yash said,
"Everything happened So fast, right? You
looking so tired. Why are you
with your books now? I think you should get
some sleep now."
"I cant, tomorrow is my exam, so I need to
revise the topics tonight.."
She said making him surprised..
"Your exam is tomorrow? Why didn't you say
me before?"
Aarti: I said you before and today didn't get
chance to say again..
Yash felt sorry, the things happened for him.
Yes she said him last week
but in this week's incidents that erased from
his mind, he shouldn't
forget this.
"I am sorry, if i could remember then..."
"Then what? Please don't regret whatever
happened, and I studied
whole year, one day will not effect it, I know I
can do well."
Yash: I know you will.
Aarti wanted to go out with the books But
yash didn't allowher, he went
out of room saying he need to make some
call. It was excuse, he
wanted her to be comfortable, after all its her
exam, and he didn't
want to be
the reason of her disturbance..
He sat on the sofa lazily, remembered about
the whole day..Today they
got married suddenly. Suddenly, but it was
not a love marriage. They
meet each other as their family arranged.
They liked each other and
started their daily conversation in phone.
His parents died long ago. His mama and
mami was his guardian.
They were so loving towards him. He knew
the reason behing this
loving nature. Their intention was the
business which his father built
with so much struggle and effort,. They
showed enough concern to
yash but he knew those are not real. After
knowing all these also
Yash couldn't stop respect them. In all
these true was his two cousin
sisters, their love was not fake.
They chose Aarti for him. He liked her nature
and was ready to
welcome her in his life. But latter his uncle
and aunt step back as they
come to know aarti's mother is a divorcee
and for them itsher fault
that she couldn't stay with her husband. So
her daughter also can be
like her, and there is some past of this girl
also so they cant accept her
as their daughter in law..
Yash couldn't find out the real point, neither
he could agree with
them whatever they said. He started to feel
for the girl. They even
started bad mouthing about them, he
couldn't tolerate and become
stubborn that if he'll marry then to that girl
only. And there was a big
argument, may be that was the outburst of
everything which he was
experiencing from long time.
Sobha was so happy to see yash on door.
"Are, yash beta, what a
pleasant surprise, come inside.." with so
much gesture she welcomed
her future son in law, but yash was not with
much patience, "If you
don't mind aunty then can I please talk to
aarti.."
Sobha was happy to see the increasing
closeness between them, she
was aware of it in Aarti's talks also, "Sure,
why not? You please
settle, I'll call her.."
Yash couldn't sit, he was restless to meet
her. He wanted one answer only..
After that day this is first time Aarti meeting
him, it was exciting for
her but she was thinking why he didn't
mention before that he is
coming? Why this surprise visit? She was
not even in a good attire
and her hair also oily and messy like this.
For her she was looking
like an alien and like that she appeared in
front of him.
It stunned her when without any prologue of
any talks he asked, "Will
you marry me?"
Aarti couldn't answer. Of course she will
marry him, their marriage
talks are going on but how embarrassing this
is when he is asking like
this infront of her mother.
Yash: I know I must sounding filmy but I
want to know your answer
and befor that I need to say about myself..
Sobha understood the situation and wanted
to excuse herself but Yash
stopped her, "Aunty, you also need to know
all these."
Yash: I left my house. There everything was
my, I could ask them to
go out from my house but I respect them as
they were with me at that
time when I was all alone but now I'll not
able to stay with them
under one roof.."
There was a surprise look both mother
daughter's face, yash
continued saying, "They are my uncle
aunt..after my parents death
they take care of me and I am and always
will be great full to them
but from the start i knew their intensions.
My father struggled so
much for our business and our small house.
And they want
everything. I respect them that's why after
knowing everything I
stayed with them like I don't know anything
but day by day all these
become unbearable and I don't think aarti
also will be able to stay
there with their low thinking and mentality
so I come out from there
, I am enough capable to manage my life
alone.."
"But why suddenly now? After all these years
why you take this firm
decision now?"
Aarti couldn't stop herself from asking and
yash couldn't find what to
answer. He cant say what language they
were using for her and her
mother. Yes he could do this before also but
then he had no reason.
Now he get the reason and strength in her to
take such step because
he knew he will not be alone now, "Theey
are not agree for our
marriage and I wanted you only as my life
partner."
He said and unknowingly Aarti blushed. She
felt special in a moment.
He left his everything for her only. But at
the next moment she had a
question in her mind, "am i becoming the
reason of separate him
from his relatives?"
Yash: After knowing all these will you marry
me Aarti? today? I want
to show them one thing that no one can be
better than you for me..
Aarti had no reason to say no but she was
nervous. She cant take
such decision like this expect knowing her
mother's view. She looked
at her mother saw her smiling which gave
her answer..
Her silence made him more restless, "Aarti
you have full freedom to
say no but just give me answer yes or no..
"Yes."
Yash come back from his thoughts and went
to the room saw his wife
dozed of on her book. When he went to
remove the book he heard her
mumbling somethings he guessed those
must be part of her books. He
smiled at her innocence. Yes her mother said
she is crazy..
No bride might get like this welcome on her
very first day. She had to
work whole day just after their weeding. Did
he take decision in
hurry? Was his word forced her to be agree?
She must had some
dreams with her weeding and he ended up
doing all these,
He was feeling guilty, "I am so sorry for how
all these happened" he
whispered and caressed her hair..
Two days latter..
Aart served the lunch. She had a gap that day.
No she didn't make the
food, still not even her first rasooi. Her
mother calling her everyday
and saying how to make which dish and how
to take care of husband
and not to be involve in study much and
many other things. But when
she got chance? From that day eating
noodles, sandwich or yash
bringing foods from hotel..
"Your mother also could say me about your
exam that day" yash asked
while having lunch as he still was feeling bad
for that.
Aarti: maa? She wanted me to get married as
soon as possible. She just
want me to take care of you and household,
otherwise I'll not learn
anything..
After lunch when yash was leaving again for
work aarti asked, "Why
you left your house yash? that is your house,
your family. Just because
they didn't want to accept me you left from
there?"
Yash felt somehow she is finding herself
responsible for this, "Not only
for this, I wanted this before also but was not
getting exact reason."
"So i am reason of this? I am reason to
separate you from your
family?" She sounded hurt.
Yash held her hand, "I am sorry Aarti, i didnt
say to hurt you, there are
many other reasons."
He didnt want to say her but the silence was
indicating her curiosity,
and she has right to know also, otherwise
she will always blame
herself.
"They were planning to kill me or make me
mentally ill
person aarti. There was something in my
food, my cousin sister Shreya
saved me, and i come to know from her it
was not first time, before
also they attempted but my sisters always
saved me. That day i had
huge argument with them about another
things also. I could throw
them out
or could send them to behind bars but i was
with them from childhood
and above of all i love my sisters, the selfish
people is their patents.
Now say me are they really my family? And
how could i take you there
where they were planning to kill me, will you
be safe there?That time i
was angry, they said really bad things about
you and your family."
, He take a deep breath , "I am sorry Aarti.
For me perhalps you forced to
support me."
Aarti suddenly asset herself so lucky, "i am so
fortunate that you take
the sudden decision"
He had a blissful smile on his face. The step
towards each other to
appriciate each other's company started with
the glimpse of care"
"Shreya and Swati come here, they are really
missing you." Aarti said
yash was surprised and thrilled to listen that,
he also miss his sisters,
Aarti: Why dont you go to meet them on Rakhi
day? They will be so
happy to meet you.
Yash was always delightful to do anything for
his sisters and yes Aarti
was right they were so happy to get their
brother on the auspicious day
. It was small attempt of Aarti to join Yash
with his family, after
knowing her in laws intention she didnt have
little believe on them but she knew
Yash's sisters will be always there for there
brother anythime. His uncle
and aunt cant change but Shreya and Swati
deserve to be with their
brother.
Yash and Aarti could understood that they fall
in love in term of care
and trust. They started to love each others
company more and more
with passing time and the sacred relation
was finding way to complete
their wish and urgue.
Just a practical exam was left. Aarti was
beaming in happiness, finally
she will get rid from her boring books and
will able to spend some
quality time with her husband, for which she
was yearning.
Yash come out after getting fresh and noticed
his wife's changing
behaviour and glowing face, "So someone
looking so happy." He said
The way he asked it made her redend, but she
handled her expressions
well, "Yes, i will not need to spend time with
books now"
Yash: But you have one exam tomorrow
right?"
"But thats nothing, i just have to submit my
project file."
And at that very moment the power gone, "You
wait, i will arrange the
candles "yash said but Aarti grabbed his arm,
"No, no need of that, you
please dont go." He voice was trembled, she
was scared."
Yash held her, "hey, dont be afraid, i'll be
back in just two minutes."
But she didnt allow him, hugging hin tightly,
"Are you mad? Its raining
heavily and you are saying to leaving me
alone? No way, i am not
leaving you."
Yash grinned in her innocence. He clasped
his hands around her,"So,
shall we stand like this in this dark?"
"Hmm," She said softly and agreed to her
heart that she was loving to
be like this in his arms.
It was drizzling outside."Did you enjoy the rain
Aarti?" Yash asked
holding her closer
"Yes, i did."
"I am asking about drencing in rain."
She still was in his tight grip "what? No, thats
crazy thing."
"Yes, that is crazy , lets do the crazy thing"
Aarti was not ready at first but she couldnt
resist he husband. They
went to the terrace And soon Aarti started to
rejoice in rain. It was fun
to sprinkle water at each other. She forgot
that was dark, just was
enjoying the rain with his company. They
were totaly soaked in rain.
All of sudden Yash has taken a hold of her
dragged her closer to him,
"Do you know when i first time saw you?"
"When?"
"You were looking like a kid in that blue
printed frock,coming out of
hospital with your brother, it was about two
years back."
Aarti was speechless to listen him, how can
he still remember the
incident which happened two years back,
"Yes, i had high fever, but i
didnt see you, and why you didnt say me
before?"
"Do you think we get chance to talk other
things like this?", He
answered pulling her more closer, brushed
his finger on her cheek.
She closed her eyes feeling the pleasure, the
tension was gearing up
between them in their body's warmth.
He noticed her re-actions, expressions. In no
moment their lips touched
each other. They discovered the growing
passion, affection, agony.
The intensity was pure when they touch and
explore each others mouth
closing the gaps. They held each other
tightly and depened on that kiss
but when the area light up crossing the dark
it ended, which they never
wanted.
Yash released her from his grip cursing the
power, saw her panting for
the long kiss. Her face was pink for the deep
blush, she could not look
at him, "I have exam tomorrow, i need to
sleep."
But she stopped in her way saw his overjoyed
face with a naughty
smile, she also was intoxicated, but it was
important to say him,"
Whatever mami ji said you about me, those
are true. Shreya said me
everything. I dont know how you find out this
much faith on me but i
really had a long affair. You trusted me, i
should have said you before.
I was mad for him, long 8 years relationship.
I was ready to do
anything for him even he also said same but
he couldnt keep his
promise as his family didnt want me. Then
dont know from where you
come to my life. I was not ready to start a
new relation again. But your
words were majical for me. I dont know how
i forget everything so
easily, didnt even feel to say you about my
past. "
They said the things were right. You didnt
ask me even once and didnt
believe them also.? Why?"
Yash's expressions didnt change, "Who said i
didn't believe them? Even
i knew everything about you. Your mother
said me. It is common thing
to have a past but i didnt bear the way they
talked about you."
he bring her in a corner of the roof, "Do you
know why i bought this
house? " He showed her some house after
two more houses, "The girl
stayed there in that house was so beautiful. I
fall for her just on first
look, i become this much crazy that I spend
all my savings to take this house."
Aarti had a strange look on her face which
made yash laugh, "Dont
worry, she dont stay here now and even if
she is here then also you
wouldnt need to take tension as i said i only
wanted you as my life partner."
Aarti had tears in her eyes.
Yash lifted her chin up, removing her tears,
"The main thing is we
didnt get enough chance to talk about all
these. So release your all
tensions and stop feeling guilty. We had a
weeding together, now we
need to make it marriage with each others
company.
Aarti felt blessed herself for the relation she
tied with him, she kept her
head on his chest, "Thats all i really wanna
do",
