So this is like my first thread here but I could not help post this week.
I love dance shows, dancing and I have watched JDJ for several seasons. Even dug out old seasons to watch them but I didn't watch all in whole as many episodes were not available online.
Anyways every season I enjoy watching celebrities perform. Even this season I watched every celebrity perform. No favourites but pleasantly surprised by each.
However when it comes to this week I could not help favouring Sanjeeda. Yeah she's not in the competition but I like Sanjeeda Sheikh and I had always hoped to see her dancing in JDJ. So this teen ka tadka was the best surprise for me. I finally got to see her in jhalak! I don't recommend her competing in any future season even though I would still watch the season just because she was in it.
She's of course a fabulous dancer (trained since she used to teach dance) though I am not totally bowled over with the performance. Nevertheless they did good. The song was okay and I had hoped they'd use Urmila's mehbooba as it has more beats (which they did) but the steps felt a bit slow. Maybe it's my video player. Deepak handled them both quite well.
I did watch mostly Sanjeeda the first time but then watched Shamita on the second. She is after all competing here. She had the attitude for the song but Sanjeeda's moves were more crisp in parts. I did wish it was longer though.
Now I am not sure if this post will not be locked but I wanted to express my surprise at having something unexpectedly be fulfilled by Colors.
