Taani watched in amusement as they entered inside the restaurant. It was a lavish restaurant, decorated beautifully. The manager escort them to their private table which Rey had booked already. Nervousness bubble up inside her, it was so new to her. She doesn't have any idea how she was suppose to react.
Rey pulled the chair out for her, Taani thanked him and sat on the chair while he took his seat opposite to her. Then waiter came there to take their order and she was again surprised when he order her favorite food. After the waiter left, taani turned to rey, he was looking at her, observing her reaction.
"How do you know about my favorite dishes?" Taani asked him in cute low tone. Rey ran his hand through his well jelled hair. He wonder what will be her reaction if she got to know that he had done research on her and know every damn thing about her.
"Urmn..Is there any problem? You want to eat something else?" Rey questioned her back. Taani shook her head in denial. Rey bit inside of his cheek to hide his smile.
"Taani, what are you doing these days?" Rey asked her, starting the conversation when awkward silence prevailed between them.
"Last month, I completed my graduation." Taani answered him with a small smile. Rey nodded at her, he remember when they got married she was just 18, another reason he didn't accepted her as there was 6 years age gap between him & her and he didn't wanted to get married specially to a immature teenage girl as he thought her to be back then. But now, this age gap doesn't seems to bother him like it used to.
"Thats great. So what are your future plans?" Rey asked her with curiosity.
"Don't know, I haven't think anything yet. I might just apply for mba.." Taani trailed off, just then waiter entered their with their order. After keeping the food on their table, he left.
Taani forward her hand to serve the food but he stopped her and passed her a dazzled bright smile causing her heart to skip a beat.
"Let me." Rey whispered softly as he started serving her food then himself. They started having their food, complete silence fell between them, all they could do was just stare at each other, he could see longing in her eyes whenever she gaze at him and he felt like killing himself when he saw the painful look in her beautiful pair of hazel.
Rey gently placed his hand over hers which was rested on the table. Her head jerked up while she stare at him with surprise filled gaze.
"You are looking very pretty, taani." Rey complimented her again, in an hour, it was 5th time he was complimenting her, she thought as blush crept up her cheeks. Never in her wildest thought she imagined her husband to behave so romantically with her.
Rey interwined his fingers with hers, he knew she has so many questions in her mind, and he is ready to answer her very question.
"After lunch, we will go to your favorite ice cream parlor." Rey told her which brought a smile on her face as she squealed in excitement. Ice cream is her weakness, and he very well knows that.
"Sorry." Taani mumbled, feeling her child like before to be inappropriate. Rey frowned hearing her apology. He would never want her to lock her real self inside her when she is with him. He wants her to her real self.
"Don't be. I like the childish you. It's cute" Rey whispered back. Her breath hitched as his words sink in. Her cheeks heat up, she lowered her head and ate her food silently.
Rey chuckled seeing her reaction. Her every action was making him fall for her all over again. He is insanely in love with his angel, she is his angel of love.
