Couples have set the dance floor on fire in the Jhalak Dhiklaja dance competition. Dance has a way of flaming passions so just who are the couples that are burning up the dance floor on this season's Jhalak Dikhla Ja? We have a chemistry meter to judge them.
There's nothing like a bit of dancing to get those hormones raging. It certainly worked for Pooja Bedi and Hanif Hilal, who met on the sets of Jhalak Dikhla Ja last year and are now quite the couple about tow. Besides all the fancy footwork and the glitzy costumes, the one thing the audience and the judges notice straight off is a lack of chemistry between partners. So who are the couples who are burning up the dance floor on this season of 'Jhalak Dikhlaja' and keeping that chemistry alive? Well here's our pick.
First up are Sandhya Mridul and her partner Javed. Sandhya may have wowed the judges so far but she makes it very clear that there's only one person she's bothered about impressing besides herself and that's her choreographer Javed. Sandhya says "Javed works so hard on me; he made me translate most of my desires into reality". With Sandhya paying such close attention to her choreographer it's no wonder she's got the moves down pat.
Mir Ranjan Negi may have been the dark horse at JDJ but he certainly put everyone's doubts to rest last week when he showed off some pretty fancy footwork and the reason for Negi's fantastic footwork isn't just all that hockey training but his choreographer Manisha who seems to be Negi's biggest cheerleader. Other than the 'Chak De' Girls of course, who turned up on the set to give the hockey guru some much needed support.
Manisha isn't the only one who's playing cheerleader. Sudha Chandran's choreographer Uma Shankar Naik also seems to be her biggest fan. Raving about Sudha's performance he said: "She was fantastic, her sprit superseded the physical realm. She was brilliant in terms of energy."
Well it's clear that the couples that get along off the sets also get along well on it. So we have a word of advice for all the contestants. Make sure you keep that chemistry meter soaring!
