My take on the scene -

1) Koushalya realised that men take their wives side too. She's frustrated about Raghava always taking his mothers side where as his son taking his wife's side. But deeply upset that she is the victim always.

2) Shanti's nautanki hit the spot. She's getting to enjoy whatever she wants to see. Likewise, Riya's first impression on Kaushalya is sort of going to be bitter. Shanti will completely trap Riya with her fake stories and pit her against Kaushalya.

3) Raghava blames Kaushalya no matter what the situation is. I hope something good happens to her.

MY god how pathetic!

Kusiyaa whattay scene she has created, how embrassing is it for Riya n Shivam ... actually ye shanti n kusiyaa ke chakar me ... the three 3 kids have suffered , its sorta a mental abuse living with Raghu Kussiya n Shanti.

TG, Shivam had the guts to take up for Riya.

What a shame ABP news reporter also is telling Cowshayliya to raise her voice against Ashanti and Sarla.

I am hoping something good comes out of this. Raghav defending his daughter in law and son may see himself in the mirror and realize what he does not do for his wife.

Eventually Riya will realize what is going on and Kaushalya would not stay angry with Shivam and Riya for long. She may be being unreasonable right now but she is not Shanti.

Would Riya wonder how did Khaushayla knows about her fast when she only told her so called nice daadi?

Wonder if Kaushayla will tell Raghav that if she can cover her face and not talk to him for wellbeing why couldn't Riya fast properly?

And yes, again, if Raghav tries to argue with her about the fast being broken, I really hope Khusiya can tell him that when his mom asks her to do stuff, she is EXPECTED to follow, so why should it be different for her DIL?

I highly doubt riya will put two and two together considering she never did during the wedding track that sarla knew all along that she loved shivam and believed shivam to be sarla's son as she herself lied and said he was...she was unsuccessful in exposing her lies
