They are in such a hurry to get rid of their daughter that they are willing to marry her off to any guy who comes around. And see Karma again...the one guy who is willing to marry their daughter turns out to be tax officer...poor DT and Kanak, they like showing off their wealth a little too much don't they ??!!

IMO, they want to add some drama, i can't imagine someone like DT getting into an alliance w.o knowing the boy is an IT officer.

They are using this for a twist, probably to transfer the properties to Tripurai & make him a scape goat and later him turing the tables.
