Did akash and Shruti get close

Hi guys just wanted to know if Shruti and Akash got close...I have been seeing them just fight and did he propose to her? What was the rain sequence.

Yes, Shruti and Akash were close despite the fact that she had been shuttled out of Delhi to Mumbai by her guardian Tau ji and brother Kunal. Yes, Akash proposed to her in the rain sequence and he cried (but I cannot comment more as I was not able to watch that video). And the reason they have been fighting is because Shruti was coerced by her Tau ji's words to see Monty (whom Tau ji wants for a son-in-law). But Akash saw her with Monty in the car and jumped to the wrong conclusion that she was using him just as she had been using Dev to get closer to him.
