@jaya the whole good vs bad get lost if Sooraj has a relation with Lalima. I am not against grey characters. But here we do not have grey. This is outright ridiculous. As a society we are governed by certain rules. There is a right and wrong to it.
I mean you need not be correct to the society, but atleast you need to be correct to your conscience. What kind of a mother Bhabo is becoming to Sooraj. For God's sake he is insane. And by not showing proper mental treatment techniques and showing such backward techniques for curing mental disease DABH is showing a very regressive message.
They had already showed some kind of depression when Sooraj threw out Sandhya after Hijack track. That depression was their justification for Sooraj behaving the way he is. Now for this relation insanity. Then what strength Sooraj as a character has. In calamity he will become depressed, insane etc etc.
I am hating this because we here are talking about a man who has seen many ups and downs in his life and bought back a girl who was a lifeless flower to a beautiful blooming flower. He was strong, he had faced opposition. He was not the one who was afraid of society. I still remember the Sooraj who goes to open the shop after Kavitha runs away from mandap. I still remember the Sooraj who speaks forcefully to Bhabo after pappad fiasco. I still remember the Sooraj who questions Bhabo before the separation track.
And if someone says Sandhya's death came as a shock to him, I don't think he can go insane like that simply. In SV2 track after the accident Sooraj runs like mad, but he is not insane. He doesn't roam around aimlessly. But we see a man full of belief Sandhya is alive in that scene. If something need to happen, it should have happened there. The shock should have paralyzed him as he himself was responsible for Sandhya in that bus. That guilt should have burned him. But we see a practical man there.
That belief Sandhya is alive without insanity would have made the Sooraj we knew. Not this weak man.
