First of all I really thank God that you didn't dump this piece... It was a treat to read... Trust me on that...

Loved the beginning, a touch of reality. College life ends and almost everything is left behind in the race of achieving something in life.

Abeer did gather the courage and proposed meher again. He gave her a fair chance. Could understand why was he was nervous. My heart broke when he thought he misread meher's behaviour towards him. May be she doesn't love him.

Then again she never entered the party and left a bouquet behind.

What abeer did and thought after that is very much justified.

Now I'm sure they will meet after years...!!!! Waiting for next part...!!!

A Dress and A rose, well, title is a bit intrigued me, and I got it now.

Wow really well done. Loved your writing style. The anxiety that Abeer was feeling like was really palpable. Poor guy. Nothing hurts like unrequited love.

But I don't want meher to be a coward either. Hopefully she makes a move before he leaves. I can't wait for the next part.
