Abhi's Daadi: What is she doing?

Abhi's Daadi watching her grand children silently while lots of wrong going on in their lives is weird.

First of all, she is using Pragya to teach a lesson to the family members such as Taiji and Mitali. It was shown in a flashback scene that Abhi buys a big house for Daadi so that her dream of having everyone together as a joint family comes true. So, it is for Daadi that he got all these people in. Abhi had an idea they all enjoy his money and didn't have an issue of it. Daadi didn't either so far. But now, she is having Mitali/Taiji do house chores using dictator Pragya. Why couldn't Daadi order them to contribute to the house too beforehand, with her authority as the Mehra head?

When Aakash knowingly cheated Rachna and tried to marry another girl, Daadi did not throw him out of the house. But Abhi who claimed to have unconsciously did a mistake with Tannu's pregnancy gets beatings and showed out of the house.

Aaliyah is also Daadi's granddaughter. Agreed she is not nice to Daadi, but why does Daadi need to take round about ways to teach her a lesson or expose her evil deeds? Why even let things go that far? Why allow Aaliyah to further keep plotting? Why not try to talk to her out of her evil nature and give her a pep talk? What does Daadi want for Aaliyah?

Pragya is her favourite bahu. But why watch like a silent spectator while Taaliyah taunt her again in the last episode?

And then Abhi, the one who actually cares the most for her- he got the house for her and got everyone together, he wanted to punish Aaliyah but she only stopped him. And now she is allowing Abhi to go through pain and confusion with this whole plan! She didn't take one second to beat up Abhi but taking forever to reveal to him he is innocent in Tannu's case and people are plotting against him!

And why should Sarla Maa and the other Aroras hear mean words from Mitali/Taiji after Pragya comes in with her changed self?

Why is she still tolerating liar Tannu in the house?

Daadi being the grand mother here has a lot of powers. Hard to understand what she is up to in this plan!

First sarla maa annoyed me ..( she is Pratial towards Pragya )
Than Pragya during that pranu track and now dadi.
Uff.. irritating it is ..

I don't like the fact that she loves abhi more than her other grand children..
I abhi loves her too but for a mother all kids should be equal.

This stupid plan is even more annoying. It's hurting abhigya a lot.

Like Abhi, Daadi doesn't want to look bad and have people stop loving her. Hence Pragya is her tool, working to achieve the outcome she wants, without Daadi herself having to suffer directly for it. Is that consciously her purpose? No. She's not intending to be selfish. But if you step back and look at her actions, her need to act behind the scenes rather than on centre stage suggests this motivation. As for what she's intending, probably she thinks that making Taaliya/Mehra-hangers-on "learn the hard way" will have deeper effect than telling them off to their faces.

Bottom line - if you're wondering why Daadi is playing games with the people in her life rather than solving problems straightforwardly, consider the question - Daadi kiski hain? This is a favoured characterization on the show. Makes sense to CVs and drama-addicts, if not anyone else.

Show him about his family ?
I watched KB episode which is being telecasted in Telugu , abhi says he and tayiji are the same and Both love money .
He tells Pragya recently , his family didn't do any work except eating.
He gave credit card to Tanu whom he had no intentions of marrying.

Aaliya is handling his accounts , Akash his dates, Purab his investments and raj is secretly stealing money.
He dint think twice before putting his things into their hands.

Pragya clearly pointed out they are defects in the accounts but still abhi dint bother to know what was happening.
It's either he is enquiring and they are not showing or he is least bothered and that was due to her trying to rule him. He would have listened to her if she said it as his fuggy. Stealing his property and showing him such things is making him not to bother about them
Once Aaliya ask him 50% share in the profit he makes through a deal . Abhi offers her everything.
Abhi spent lakhs for bb ( treatment and marriage)
Pragya never worked after marriage ( which means obviously she is living with his money even when he hated her)

So abhi knows everything that is happening and he is not really bothered about his so called family doing that. Till a few days back Pragya and dadi were not bothered too.

Actually I understand why they are bothered now it's because Aaliya is trying to destroy him. The man who brought her up like a father , she is trying to betray him and so dadi is angry.

Along with revenge on taliya and exposing them she wants to set right her family too..

But why I consider her selfish is ,

Bb was almost killed by Aaliya.dadi wanted to forgive Aaliya for attempt to murder but not cheating.
Because bb is not her grand daughter she don't mind the murder attempt by her Aaliya

she gets angry and plots against her own granddaughter whom she supported when she tried to kill a girl because she is trying to take away abhi everything.

If bb was dead that day , she will not come back but abhi loses everything also he can earn back.

Above all , abhi dint want to marry Tanu even if the baby is his and he wanted to send Aaliya out for cheating him. These people stopped him and today they keep him in dark and play with his feelings hurting him because they think he will not believe him.

When they can't be smart enough to understand abhi doesn't need proofs , how will they deal with taliya and raj ( they don't know about him )

Pragya is not smrt enough to deal with the cunning villains.
Her kindness and good nature is her weakness.
She is acting shrewd but she isn't.

Bb is getting included in their team. At least now I wish their next plan succeeds.

I know everything is dragged until TRPs are good . Cvs are constant in one thing . Pragya trying to save herself and her people from villains and failing. Abhi coming to her help. She is not able to fail the villains.

Yes she saved abhi from drunk and drive and took his bullet too but she dint have opponents when doing this.now she have strong opponents . I hope she succeeds.

How does Daadi look any less bad if once they all know it is her masterplan?

My whole post is to question that. As per Abhi goes, Abhi targeted Pragya and Pragya only (not even her immediate family), whom he believed to be the bad one. Here Pragya and Daadi are hurting more the one they love than the villains as of now. So I don't see a comparison between him and Daadi.
If we are talking of MMS, there it was a solid plan- executed in a day catching the main culprit unaware! And it was done to save Pragya who failed to save herself!

Do you guys think when the truth will be exposed what will happen because abhi loves his dadi and pragya a lot and dadi knows that abhi loves pragya and he can't live without her but still dadi is playing with abhi's feelings by telling pragya to show abhi that pragya came here for money.now look he doesn't like to go to his house because he will have to face pragya.pragya loves abhi and dadi a lot .to show tanu and aliya's real faces to abhi she is obeying dadi and executing plan. I think before revealing tanu and aliya's truth abhi will find out dadi and pragya's truth

Dadi told pragya at the temple scene she does not trust abhi to do the right thing. he cannot distinguish between right and wrong , gets easily swayed by people. So she does not have much faith in him. She has no intentions of telling him abt the plan.she told pragya she will handle abhi when he wud come to her , did not say she will tell him the truth. She is not delaying , she does not want to tell him the truth before it ends.
In the first few episodes it was evident dadi was not happy at the way abhi handled his money. She told him so , that he didn't value money and his so called family wasted the money and he spent a lot on them. She did not like it that they were bothered only abt his money. Abhi never listened to her or cared. People may say he can spend his money as he pleases but our cultural setup in India is that parents do have a say in how we spend our money. Its normal in most families and children do obey them.

Through this track dadi wants to teach her family including abhi a lesson through pragya. She alone could not do , as her telling people would not be effective as Abhi himself was careless about these things .

Now addition of bulbul to the plan may not be a good idea either. Bulbul made grand plans for trapping aliya in the kidnapping track. End result ? Aliya royally fooled Bulbul by trapping Purvi instead and Bulbul fell for it.

The last 100 episodes- Abhi told Pragya Aaliyah might not have turned good, Pragya said otherwise. Abhi caught Aalu in bride swap and wanted her out, PraDa stopped him!
Abhi said Tannu is a liar, Pragya argued she wouldn't be, fully supporting Tannu! Abhi said he doesn't want to marry Tannu to both PraDa but Pragya convinced him with love promise!
Now PraDa have suddenly realized they are wrong but forgot Abhi was hinting at it too and it's like they wanna emerge heroes saving Abhi!
Let's not forget Daadi admitted Abhi forgave Aalu 3 times for her sake! So it is not like Abhi had high trust in Aalu!
